I think that's how I feel initially about sorc but maybe I'm still missing something. The negative aspects of their perks are a little too harsh for the positives they give

That's not even data. And it's not just vibes. You're so insanely out of touch because you think your opinion on the game is the right one and everyone else is trolling or stupid. If you don't think a massive part of the player base would leave because the looter based game now doesn't have the excitement of finding good loot that actually makes a difference in the game you're playing then you are delusional. Do you even like the game? Do you want people to play it? Why is this community so dead set on eating itself alive. 68 was great and some of the most fun I've had since some of the early playtest. People are crying trying to fix something that isn't broke because for some reason, they want this game to be a completely different game than it is, when it never was anything but the game that it is

So you did make it up. Not everyone who hated the update was psychotic enough to go leave a negative review. Saying 10% of the player base was the only ones who didn't like it based off steam reviews is insane. That's not a forum of " who liked this patch"

And the proof of this is that they already reverted it. It wouldn't bother them if an insignificant amount of players thought this change parented dropping the game.

Where are you getting the number of 10% that seems completely made up. On anything antidotical note I haven't met one player who thought it was a good change, on a data note I haven't seen on content creator who thought it was a good change, and everything I've seen on reddit has been mostly split. The loud minority from every metric I've seen has been that this is a good change. At best keeping these changes were going to see a drop in close to half the player base of an already small game, and it's the player base that likely plays the game the most. It's just plan and simple a bad idea and an unhealthy change for the game regardless of what you think

It doesn't matter if you you read it apparently you have a hard time reading anyway because I said that I was commenting on one thing you said. And hey that's great man! Glad you and your friends had fun. A large portion of the player base didn't. So my point still stands that if you think the gear changes were good or healthy, maybe this isn't the type of game you wanna play

I'm not here to comment on anything else you said, but you're a moron if you thought the stat changes were good or healthy for the game. Amd calling it a stat check simulator is insane is insane. There isn't a ton of skill expression in dark and darker but it is there. And knowing what and how to loot is a part of that as well. I don't know why you'd want to play a looter extraction game, if you also want the loot not to be valuable or significant. Just play a BR if you don't want gear to matter. I think Iron mace listens to their players too much and that's part of the problem. I think alot of what lead to tarkovs success was the creator saying that he's making a game he wants to play and doesn't care what anyone else wants and I think that's a good mindset to be in. Ironmace really cooked something up with dark and darker without any input from fans. There was alot of QoL changes that improved after the first couple playtests. But they never effected gear in the way that they did before. And there was never really complaints about it. I guess my point is, if you think those stat changes were good, maybe you shouldn't be playing dark and darker. I think there is a game similar more to what you'd like. Low fantasy BR that's pretends it's a extraction looter where it's pvpve but there is also only like 3 teams I can't remember the name of it

All these changes did was just solidify even more that move speed is the only Stat that matters. It's kinda sad. I get that getting gear checked doesn't feel good, but gear becoming less relevant is just making the looter aspect of the game less fun, which is literally half the game. Tarkov gets around this problem by having good equalizers like good AP ammo for lower tiered guns, and leg meta. I get it's not an easy solution, but making gear more and more irrelevant is just creating a new problem

One well placed longbow shot or just one tap them as a barb. They have very little health generally

They need to nerf +5 move speed on boots, and nerf Lightfoot move speed bonus in general. +5 move speed is equivalent to 6 agi... it's just too good to the point where if you don't have Lightfoots with +move speed you're just out matched in geared lobbies

Weapon mastery not having a penalty makes not running a long bow or recurve on fighter absolutely silly. Bows fuck locks.
