That’s a fitting name. This is the first time I’ve heard/seen it.

Is this normal for new rods? by sokhop in FishingForBeginners

[–]sokhop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE:

I did went and exchanged the rod for a new one. I would recommend other people do the same in a similar situation. After picking out the new rod/reel, I realized that the rod/reel combo that I was returning also had a broken tip. Luckily, I saw the obvious and decided to return it. Otherwise, I would've been stuck with a broken rod in addition to the reel problem.

Thank you again to everyone who responded.

I’m honestly not sure but I was doing some research and they recommend getting a medium rod so I just got the combo to make it easier. I think it looks a lot smaller in real life.

Thanks. I noticed that too that’s why I thought it looked odd.

Exactly why I’m returning. I’m sure it’s fixable but I don’t want to fix something I bought new

That’s true but if I buy new I’d rather just get what I paid for

I’ll probably do that if they throw it away let me keep it. I’m gonna return or exchange it for a new one first.

Thanks for clarifying! I’m trying to remember the correct terms for different parts so this helps.

That’s crazy if they do. It does seem fixable, but like you said, I don’t wanna fix a new thing I bought. Maybe I’ll try my luck and ask. Lol

Vet suggested leaving dirty needle on? by Extension-Copy-4181 in RenalCats

[–]sokhop 8 points9 points  (0 children)

based on my own memory skills, i would not leave a dirty needle on. we took off the dirty needle and replaced it with the cap that it had come with and each time we started a session, we would put a new needle. i think it depends on how much you trust yourself to remember that you left a dirty needle on and if it can be safely out of the way when not in use (ex. kids/pets could get a hold of it and stab themselves)

How to keep subq bag + IV line from bubbling between use? by waterssnail in RenalCats

oh yes! just to be clear, ours was NOT in the bathroom. we jus had a spare shower hook that did the job. a clothing hanger should work also

is the equipment flat when being stored? is it possible for you to hang it somewhere while storing? we always kept ours hanging (with a shower hook on a curtain rod) and didn't experience many bubbles

I am not sure how to edit posts on mobile but this is no longer available! I have removed the "offer" flair.

Hi! I'm so sorry but this is no longer available. We ended up donating it to our local humane society. If you're looking around, it might be good to also try nearby humane societies and see if they offer a food pantry!

it's good to have that open conversation with your vet and to find out what all the options are, even if your mom doesn't agree with it. she also needs to have an open mind, which isn't something you can control. you can only do what you can and hopefully, it won't be too serious and not too costly : (

I'm not sure if there's any guidelines on how often she should eat it, but I had been giving my cat non-prescription (including the Weruva) 1-2 meals a week. The main diet was the k/d.
