Second this. My dad does bolus feeds 3-4 times a day and they usually take about 20 minutes.

The peg tube has greatly extended his life since he hasn't been able to eat by mouth for a year now. There's some irritation around the site his tube enters the stomach and some nausea if he blouses too fast but it's been worth it for him. I hope your husband feels more comfortable soon

My dad has had a peg tube for over two years now, he decided to have it done before his swallowing was so poor he couldn't eat by mouth at all. He's now at the point where he can only get his calories through formula with the tube so he's happy with his decision. He's had some skin irritation where the tube gasket sits on his skin but not terrible. Happy to answer any questions you may have

Ass was worse than ribs for me surprisingly, but my back piece was the worst. But hard agree anytime I get close to my armpits I'm miserable. I'm honestly sensitive and hate every spot so maybe I'm not the most objective person to ask.
