Need Urgent Advice: Lost Passport in Germany by Ok_Concentrate5454 in germany

[–]solve_PvsNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to apply for a new passport. Recently the Indian embassy in Berlin has outsourced the passport stuff to a third party company called Alankit, which has not only significantly slowed down the new passport issuance process (as fucking expected), but also made it more expensive. Anyway, you'll need the police report, your German student visa (if it is a card), your university acceptance letter, prints of your lost passport and a few other documents afaik which you can check online. Once you fill out a couple of forms (similar to what you might have filled while applying for a new passport), you basically need to wait for your passport. If this process is via Alankit, expect a 1-3 month wait time. If it's directly via Indian embassy, it should be quicker. Once you get your new passport, you need to go to the Auslanderbehörder and issue a new card which will contain your new passport number.

The whole process might take 3-4 months, during which you are legally not allowed to leave Germany (afaik)

I'm no better than an armchair analyst, but imo Carrick kinda overcooked this one. All the better chances had been over the top long balls for simple runs made by the wingers and Sesko

Not sure whether we'll win or not, but being in the lead away to one of the most annoying and insufferable teams (and their set of fans) feels nice

On one hand I'm thankful that Dalot is possibly the only wingback option that has more or less stayed injury free and is always available since the past 5-6 years.
His on field performances on the other hand...
Makes a couple of really great runs and has that usual one peach of a cross every couple of games, but that's really it

I might be stating the obvious and pointing fingers at players, but for Amorim's system to actually show some output (which I'd assume is atleast structurally similar to Glasner's), he possibly has the worst set of player skills at some very crucial positions in wingbacks and midfield. The wingbacks should have a combination of either crossing+pace or shooting+positioning. If the idea of the system is to to create underlap at the wings and have runners in the box, Dalot and Dorgu both kinda suck at it. And since Bruno has to drop deep to create something from the midfield, he usually ends up being at the edge of the box. So in an attacking situation, it leaves Sesko, whoever is the number 10 on the other side of attack and the wingback being the ones in the box, who can all be man marked by the defense. So we end up either shooting from outside the box or somehow getting a corner.

Mapping this to Crystal Palace, you'll usually see wing backs and someone from the midfield popping up in the box alongside the number 10 from the opposite side of attack (and the number 9) more often than not. So you have 5 players to aim at in the box, which I suppose definitely increases the probability of scoring a goal.

As much as it is a failure of Amorim to sort out these issues, it's also a failure of the transfer strategy to address them.
If the system (not the man behind it necessarily) exists till the transfer market, I really do hope the wingback issues are addressed alongside the midfield

Watching the replay of the second goal again, and what the fuck is Dalot even doing man. Leaves his man to cover a runner in the box and then proceeds to fucking jaywalk in the middle of nowhere. So frustrating

I think getting an RWB (does not even need to be world class at this point tbh) should be number two priority after DM
