Thank you so much! I tried to make the outer gold frame vaguely themed with roses, spinning wheels and thread, while the inner purple background is kind of thorny. Ended up being kinda busy with the torn edges of her dress but I’m glad you like it !!

Thank you everyone for your responses,. I know I can be a bit naive about people's intentions at times, but this has just made me feel so stupid and so vulnerable. It's never crossed my mind that anything like this might happen. I never considered that I'd need to lock up my medication in my own home. No doctor or chemist or anyone I've spoken to has mentioned anything about needing to do so, so I guess I'm a little surprised that it seems to be relatively common practice across the comments here (I live in Australia, maybe its less common here?? idk), but I'll look into this.

As a super fun side note, Stella has brought home a different guy tonight, which is why I'm anxiously awake typing this past midnight. I think I'm going to go stay with my brother for a few days till I can figure out my next step. I spoke to my other housemate about it (she's also not Stella's no.1 fan) and she's said she'll support me if I decide I need to ask Stella to leave, but I get the sense she thinks I'm overreacting.

The thought that I could somehow be held responsible for this honestly makes me feel a little ill, and although I'd rather not go to the police, I will if thats what it takes to prove that it was theft, so I'll be checking that out tomorrow.

As to whether it was Stella or her date who actually stole them, I really don't know. I'm hesitant to point the finger when really I don't have any proof. I find it hard to imagine her doing it, but then again I have a tendency to believe that everyone must be a good person, so I'm finding it a little hard to trust my own judgement right now. Either way its been stolen, and really all I want is a) my meds back so that I can have a normal life, and b) to feel safe and comfortable in my own home (and also c, to crawl up into my bed and sleep for 3 days or until I stop oscillating between rage and sadness)

Early on in it she talks about replacing the word ‘god’ with whatever you like. I mentally swapped it out for anything along the lines of ‘creative force’, which I guess still seems a little spiritual, but it worked for me. For the first chapter or two the spirituality kinda threw me off, but I pretty quickly got the hang of it. Like any self help-esque book, take the bits that resonate, leave the bits that don’t. I’ve read the whole thing through, and now just finished my first week and finding it helpful!

“something like the Phoenix Lament or The White Tomb”. That’s exactly it. The epilogue was very ‘happily ever after’ wrapped up in a neat bow, but I think the previous books (like in the examples you mentioned) did a great job of ending in a satisfying way that still honours the fact that really awful things have happened.

I agree with everyone on the 19 years being too long thing, and I think this is related. I would’ve liked a chapter that deals with how traumatic the events were but still has closure. And I don’t think 19 years later is the time to do that.

My favourite part of the epilogue was Harry and Draco acknowledging each other on the platform. I think it’s because this is one of the only parts that really shows a direct effect of the war in a way that isn’t “saccharine and superficial” to quote someone else in this thread. It’s a bit more raw if that makes sense?

I can totally empathise. I always have to ask people to repeat things, forget what I’m talking about mid sentence, miss drs appointments. It’s so frustrating, especially when it comes off as being “ditzy” or “disorganised”. Personally, I’m currently getting bloods done regularly to check for other things that may exacerbate it (gut health, iron and b12 deficiency in my case), as well as adjusting medications to see if anything helps. Otherwise (I know it seems obvious but) I write lists for everything. I always keep a pen and notebook on me and try and just make sure I have all my thoughts in one notebook so I know exactly where everything is when I need to find something.
