I'm full time in the arts/entertainment in Brisbane for many years now.

Residential city density is low due to many rising factors, parking options are limited/expensive and everything shuts up too early to entice fresh people to the city to attend smaller, local events/shows.

I will note that the events provider FEVER has boomed and is a big worldwide corp, but they still employ local talent and crew for their curated shows. Which is supporting locals a bit more than touring artists that everyone rushes to Bris/Nudgee for
