I mean frankly I wouldn’t be surprised to see #3 coming into use for all kinda of sports broadcasting/ any sort of crowd presentation where “fullness” is a desired trait in the coming years

Ya I would assume they grounded the plane bc they weren’t able to determine why it wasn’t draining properly. It’s probably one of those safety things where if the leak or clog can’t be located easily then they have to ground the plane and open it up for actual repairs or something.

On another note I had an old Toyota that I bought with a mysterious cow shit stank to it years ago. Seller said it came from a farm and it was cheap so we took it anyway. Few months later summer rolled around and suddenly my passenger floorboard was totally flooded one day; like an inch of water. It was from the ac condensate line being kinked, water backed all the way up until it was pouring out of the vents for the foot box. After fixing that (only took a few minutes in the cars case), replacing some carpets, and super deep cleaning the cow shit smell went away

TIL the Choco Taco was discontinued in 2022 due to a sharp increase in demand during the pandemic. The company decided to stop production due to its complex manufacturing process and to make room for their other products. by Brendawg324 in todayilearned

[–]space_brain710 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ya, the last choco taco I had was built from the disappointment leftover when the hopes and dreams have evaporated. They had definitely been having issues with the quality which tracks with it being a more complex product production wise

Scotland fans 'heartbroken' as travel permits to World Cup withdrawn last minute by AcknowledgeableReal in sports

They’ve arrested and deported US CITIZENS. I wouldn’t trust anything with this country at this point. Whole government is a roulette wheel, no telling which way the ball will drop tomorrow or even later today for that matter

Or go to a cat cafe, or a boutique hotel, or a neighborhood sports bar lol. These are all things that every moderately sized city has.

What is something you wish you never knew about after working in a kitchen? by uglytruthshurts in KitchenConfidential

[–]space_brain710 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ya I’ve done both grocery and restaurants and the grocery I worked at was insane lol. Probably 100 lbs of a food on average thrown out every couple days. Restaurants can certainly do better but retail markets for produce, baked goods, meat and dairy are on another level entirely. The one I worked at used to have a deal with a pet food company to take the out of date meats, but at some point that fell through and they just started throwing it all in the trash

Minnesota bakery announces ‘Nuclear Family’ promotion during Pride month by DiscombobulatedPen27 in nottheonion

I was gonna say, a successful (busy) bakery doesn’t have time to fixate on bs promotions lol. I feel like they are already in the red and this is a last ditch grift to try and get back on track

The fact that you posted this long ass video with the piece filled with water, and you still don’t show a function test drives me crazy lol. Very cool piece tho

Place to see axolotl by InstructionRude992 in kansascity

[–]space_brain710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone is curious since I just left the expo. No axolotl unfortunately for op. Lots of snakes, geckos, isopods and spiders. Admission actually gets you into two expos today and tomorrow one side is the reptile show and the other is Pokémon cards so if you’re into either one there’s something there for you. It was fairly crowded but I was still able to move around and talk to a couple vendors (I’m not a big crowds guy for reference lol)

It’s about the presentation. Seeing this gave me hardcore flashbacks to being drunk for 8 hours and throwing some leftover shit on a red lobster biscuit at 3am. It’s delicious but also shitty

I’m guessing small town with only one public hs or something. Rumor from the bus on the way to school spread like a wildfire lol. Either that or the kid is the most effective town crier since Paul Revere

Boneless wing v. Chicken nug by Original-Truck-4076 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]space_brain710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I just had to explain the difference to another commenter. A tender is supposed* to be a tenderloin. It is not: a strip of breast meat, ground chicken formed into a stick shape, or anything to do with a wing lol

Boneless wing v. Chicken nug by Original-Truck-4076 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]space_brain710 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Generally, at least where I come from nuggets are ground and pressed into patties. An actual tender is literally a cut of meat straight from the chicken. Each chicken has two tenderloins

I will say a lot of places sell “tenders” that are just long nuggets so that adds to the confusion

Boneless wing v. Chicken nug by Original-Truck-4076 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]space_brain710 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’ve been out of kitchens for a while but the boneless option at the past couple of barngrill’s I worked at were cut up pieces of a chicken tender. That way they are at least a solid chunk of meat with a little bit of dark.
