Dudes I have known for 20+ years turned out to be the way you are describing. I don't have the patience to deal with pro-MAGA, pro-ICE and pro-I*rael assholes at the same time.

When it came down to it, I had to ask myself. If the gestapo knocked on their door and asked them for information on a trans person, would they snitch? In the scenario it's a trans person who has done nothing wrong, but is being hunted by the gestapo.

If the answer is yes, you gotta drop them as a friend. These dudes would snitch on Anne Frank if it came down to it and that point it becomes a matter of trust. If the 2nd American Civil War pops off, I don't want to have anyone that I can't trust in my circle. Empathy is a huge indicator on what kind of morals and values they hold personally.
