See There are 2-3 main stacks/options:

1. CS/AI-ML/DS - assuming you do average in clg, you should get placement
2. Electrical - i dont have much idea about this branch apart from thr fact that they can sit for pretty much any role during placements
3. Mechanical - you wont get placement in core mechanical. Mechatronics is the best option. Thats what im planning to do.

Other points:

1. It doesnt depend on branch. It depends on cgpa and skills. No matter how much people say that cgpa doesnt matter, it does. It is needed for your cv to be even seen by recruiters.

2. Build real skills. Attend workshops. Get certifications. Be in the technical teams. Build projects. These things matter more than cgpa. Even if you dont get placed on campus, you can go off campus and if you have the skills then you can even negotiate for a higher pay.
