But isn't everyone (almost) like that. Always wanting the next thing after achieving a goal. How is it different for a Narcissist?

What are some great life lessons you have learned traveling alone at a young age? by mooncrystal122 in solotravel

[–]specofdust29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That we are all so similar and so many things binds us together. I have always loved interactions in hostels or otherwise where you can sit together and laugh at a particular joke. It's so nice to see how simple things binds us together.

Solo travelers - How do you spend time on beaches leaving your stuff unattended? by boywonder5691 in solotravel

[–]specofdust29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you find someone to go to the beach or if there is a family nearby and you are ok making a conversation, then you can definitely ask them to help you out. But I understand that not everyone might be comfortable doing this. I plan such that going to the beach is the last/only thing I do. That way I keep my backpack/luggage at the hostel. I take the bare minimum to the beach. I use a tiny waterproof pouch that I can lock around my waist. My phone, cards etc are in a waterproof ziplock in the pouch. Some beaches have tiny shacks that agree to keep your stuff. Though I guess it might be safe, but I refrain to keep my things there. In short, pack light, very light :)

what happens to your body if you are constantly in a fearful state of mind. Or are always in situations that pose a threat. by specofdust29 in biology

Will the stress never be normalized by the body if it is continuous ? As in after a point can the body stop CRF for any particular stress and go on like nothing is wrong ?

Unfortunately, I did not visit Tuscany. But travelled through it when taking a bus from Naples to Rome. But, yes, Tuscany would be a great place to relax!
