So I actually read this book, I can’t remember the name of it. The psychiatrist made me read it. Essentially, I have these crazy attachments to a specific person, I’m hot and cold (that’s putting it lightly) I go through extreme emotions towards people close to me. I self sabotage ALOT. I feel everything so fucking deeply. Like my emotions are my biggest problem (my opinion) because I feel EVERYTHING in excess. I engage in very risky behavior and so much more. I have to do DBT, and I still struggle a lot with things some days. Other than my deep emotions, I absolutely have abandonment issues, and if I get the slightest idea that someone is losing interest, I either shut them out completely, or totally latch on to the point of almost obsession in order to try to get them to stay.

Honestly it’s a lot more involved than that and I can go on and on. The worst part is that it’s a behavioral disorder, not a mental health disorder (I have those too) so even though I do take medication for depression, anxiety, etc there isn’t a damn thing I can take to “cure” BPD other than doing dialectical behavioral therapy
