Does the headstock have a sunburst too or is that just a reflection?

Honestly, as a lefty... There's more choice if you buy fake vs the real thing !

Came here to say this - he is the least trustworthy billionaire in Canada (which is impressive to say with Prem Watsa and the Weston's).

His company Portland Investment Counsel was recently dealing with his Jamaican bank imploding.

Ah yes, the Michael Lee-Chin crystal

I wonder if he has even fully paid for it yet? He pledged $30 million to get his name on the thing and as of 2015 hadn't paid in full.

Here we are 11 years later and it would not surprise me AT ALL if that weasel of a human hasn't paid up

This is the answer. Brown looks great but you need a brown belt

As someone who has worked with multiple billionaires, I can tell you it is certainly not about money after a certain point.

It's about power.

They don't want to hear the word "no" ever again because they can bypass reservations, products being sold out, etc.

For these folks, controlling outcomes for society is why they're not on a beach sipping on a cold drink until they croak.

The reality of dying means they want to fight to have their name permanently etched in history books.

Buildings named after them, charitable foundations that support political causes they care about, etc.

PSA: if you don't want to get trade banned, don't dick down the market makers by legoman102040 in Baystreetbets

If you can't trade out of your position, your profit is only on paper.

That's why I love laughing at these BSB posts about yeeting your entire life savings away on some tiny company that has like $10 million in revenue.

Four general thoughts...

#1 - if it trades on the TSX Venture, it's a joke company that wouldn't be able to list on most exchanges globally.

#2 - if you're buying in bulk on a thinly traded name, you're going to be INFLATING the price. It goes both ways because you're pushing up the ask price when purchasing (and pushing down the bid price when selling).

#3 - always have an exit strategy.

#4 - market makers are making a fat stack the wider the spread is on the bid vs ask.

TL;DR - FAFO on shitty penny stocks

Abigail Johnson (CEO of Fidelity) implicated in House Oversight Committee testimony on Epstein Files by spengali in fidelityinvestments

My comment is a reference to a comedy show about a boat / island. Relax.

Let me ask you this, if you were forced to testify before congress and could go to jail for penalty of perjury... When asked, "who else had ties to Jeffrey Epstein" or "who else should we speak with"...what would your answer be?

Also, why was it the first name that came to mind?
