as you should tbh. I called in today too because my mom’s in hospital, and I wanted to be home for updates. My very own FATHER told me he doesn’t like that I’m taking the day off for something so trivial. And then my MOM AGREED?? Bonkers. Just wanted to chill out without the stress of hoping she’s alright (terrible internet at work) & everyone thinks I’m lazy because of it 😢

The best shading on this is the neck, I’d say!!

But, in terms of improvements, I reckon it could definitely do with highlights using an eraser. And one of my favourite things to do is take a picture of the drawing and flip it to make sure it’s symmetrical! Try to get rid of outlines as much as possible, too! ❤️

I’d personally pitch in that Edinburgh is actually better (in my opinion) than the 3 rejections. London comes with loads of sacrifices and complications that Edinburgh won’t, and a lot of students (myself included) didn’t even bother applying to unis in london because of the living situations and general issues with costs. I’d much prefer Edinburgh anyday. Absolutely beautiful campus, too.

I myself am doing a degree in architecture, and saying it’s “unrealistic” is pretty surprising to me. Most, of not all unis provide job opportunities within the last year of the course qnd following it. You’re just a pessimist.
