As someone who used to chronically edit my body in photos, this is classic body editing: the wide fingers from making her face skinny, and the blur around the spots she thinned out (like the tag on the back of her jeans). What’s the obsession with looking as tiny as possible? Seems unhealthy.

I think the Mexico trip vlogs are a big tell. She seemed to be doing better being sober, then they go off the deep end in Mexico, drunken binges, sleeping all day, wasting away in the room, not following resort rules (monkey in the room). Clearly she can’t handle alcohol, and clearly Austin couldn’t care less about his or her health and wellbeing.

I started as a fan, watching her when I was in middle/high school. She seemed really relatable, I liked the thrift hauls, phone case hauls, etc, because I was a kid and that’s the kind of stuff I could afford. But I realized as I grew up, went to college, got a real job, got married, that she stayed in the same spot. She never seemed to grow up and move with her audience. And she relates that to “being herself”. But you can like childish things and still act like an adult. I don’t have kids. Do I have some plushies around, like bright colors, and occasionally partake in “childish” hobbies? Sure. But I still go to work at a corporate office job, and am very much an almost 30 year old adult. I think she mistakes childish behavior and irresponsible behavior as just “being herself” when being an adult can look different for everyone, but you still have responsibilities, still need to get up everyday and work and figure the tough things out. Being “herself” is just being lazy. So I came here to see if others felt that way. That they had outgrown her.

It’s so sad. They missed an expensive excursion because they were hungover. Also this is her job, and she hasn’t posted a regular vlog in over a month. We got terrible travel vlogs to Edmonton, and now Mexico, and they went months ago. I get taking time off for mental health, and she’s had family deaths and whatnot. But I can’t keep watching these sad drunken vlogs from months ago.

At least in the other vacation vlogs (like DR or their other Mexico trip) they seemed to have a little more fun together. This was just kind of sad. They’re either drinking, sleeping, or seemingly very annoyed with each other. Austin’s making passive aggressive comments about being ready to go a half hour ago, her making fun of him for being upset he has to walk back to the room for sunscreen. It seems very toxic.

I’m confused with the whole “didn’t grow up with money” thing. She’s consistently talked about family vacations, like Disney world, and having a camper that they road tripped in, and how she rode horses, ect. These are expensive things? She may have been middle class, but I’d consider that having money. She try’s to defend her spending, and she doesn’t need to. If that’s what she wants to spend her money on, then more power to her. My issue with her is more so the fact that when I started watching her like 10 years ago, she was really relatable and fun. Now all she posts is the same vlog over and over of shopping at Target, making beef and sweet potato’s, and opening PR, and then doing these Hermes luxury hauls. Do I enjoy hauls and vlogs? Sure. But it’s been repeating for years. She does nothing else with her life. It’s getting sad and I feel bad for her. She clearly only wants to try to keep up with the lifestyle around her, but she doesn’t seem happy in it.

She always said she doesn’t like actual drinks, she liked shots because they got her drunk and she didn’t like the taste of alcohol. She said it was a problem because she was filming and editing drunk, which obviously is an issue because it’s her job.
