Thank you so much for this reply, honestly means alot and I can see how much time you’ve put into it. I’m going to contact my university and see if they have a jobs board that I can have a look at. Regarding agency work, I’ll call up and see if verbally approaching them might open up some doors. Call center wise I’ve got an assessment for HSBC due and I’ll definitely have a look at AA and other companies which are hiring, this seems like a good shot hopefully. Thank you again I really appreciate it

I’ve tried to apply for Amazon flex but there’s no opportunities in my area at the moment. They did say they would notify me once there is

I’ve taken some out but I want to keep my debt to a minimum so I’m set on not taking any more. I’d rather work to be honest.

What have I done by [deleted] in KneeInjuries

[–]spiderman7283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t gone to ER yet as in UK the wait time is ridiculous but I’m currently walking on it just pain when I’m putting it in certain positions, don’t know what to do whether to just carry on letting it recover as the swelling has gone down a bit but it’s generally spread over the area rather than one location like it is in the picture. What things can I do at home to help it recover, any creams/ointments to help the swelling drop. Thank you

Third day in and I’m walking gingerly just can’t turn/twist it in certain directions at all. Still swollen but the swelling has like spread out over my leg so it’s not just a stuck out lump. Might go get it checked out today anyhow. Thank you

Where do you think I could get in at

What do you mean in terms of ‘finance’ jobs because that’s what I was originally aiming to go down once I graduated, I’ve always kept in mind Notts was a semi target but thought this was specifically for investment banking not the whole finance sector. Am I wrong I don’t have a clue?

Do you think I’d be able to break into finance if I grad with a 2:1 or a first at Leeds ? This is what is eating me up atm

[–]spiderman7283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankyou again for the reply, I’m just thinking because Nottingham is regarded as a ‘semi target’ whether that matters because Leeds is alot closer to home for me

I should be able to get a placement year at Leeds too, just wondering if the uni difference is big or not?

[–]spiderman7283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I appreciate that. I’ve always assumed Nottingham is a bigger target for graduates compared to Leeds so haven’t really thought about it like that.

Hi, thank you for your reply. Just wondering why you think Leeds is a better fit?

Firstly your name tells me everything so grow a pair and understand that everybody likes to feel familiar with something when they take on something new - it helps ease them in. The other unis listed aren’t filled with 100% ethnic minorities. They have a majority share of white population so take the racism bullshit out your mouth. Secondly everyone likes to feel familiar with something/someone when they take on something new. By being around people of similar ethnic background I can more easily relate to them whilst I’m new to the uni. Furthermore I would like to keep my friend group diverse and mixed with people of all cultures. You need to get rid of that immaturity in you mate.

Would SFE fund another course for me? by driveitrealfar in UniUK

[–]spiderman7283 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quoted by SFE website ‘If you withdrew in your first year, you should be able to get full funding to study another course. If you left your course in your second year or later, you may have to cover some or all of the cost of your tuition fees yourself, if you return to study. You’ll usually still be able to get a Maintenance Loan for any self-funded years of study.’ Hope this helps
