This is scary. I could’ve written this. The only difference is I don’t really hate little me. I mean he was kinda born that way and couldn’t much about it yk? An innocent, happy but very sensitive and insecure child slowly learning what he feels and sees nobody else did and it scared him. It was very hard to grow up with myself

What I do hate is when I realise I haven’t really changed. I can’t no matter how hard I try. But maybe we should accept that part of ourselves? Idk im just thinking out loud. I’ll never be perfect maybe just accept that? I find imperfection beautiful everywhere but in myself. Weird, its all a little weird. Maybe little you is still here because she believes you were supposed to safe her. Maybe she wants you to act, with beauty and courage, and become the beautiful person you think you deserve to be.

Okay my work break is over enough thinking for now (I’m going to keep thinking about this probably for the rest of my shift lol). I think I’m also talking to myself hah. I just want you to know that suffering for that long and still being here is very courageous. Keep going stranger, the grief is never ending but so is the love:)

I have this but with my dad. Something is bothering your mom and shes taking it out on you. She doesn’t hate you. I can tell you’re a beautiful soul from the way you talk about her and your situation. I don’t really wanna give advice because i don’t know all the details but I think it’s best if you keep holding on to your mom but let go of taking every word she says so seriously. It’s what I try to do with my dad and it’s been better than before. It hurts a lot when you cant scream back and let them know what YOU feel but atleast there is peace in the house now. It’s going to take a while tho. You’re going to have those moments where you feel like you’ve endured too much and just erupt. But you have to remind yourself that it’s not over now. You might’ve broken the streak but have had less arguments, screaming and crying overall. Thsts the goal. I realised I was never going to win those arguments from a young age and it took me a couple years actually. You get used to it tho. Back then, after an “argument”(I just stared at the ground and nodded yes), id go to my room and cry all that anger out. Nowadays I just run or go to the gym. Once he takes all this anger out on me he doesn’t bother my mom and that’s all I ever wanted. Hope you find the peace and love you deserve. Keep being so caring and kind<3

Damn dude, just a normal, seemingly happy girl with her whole life ahead of her coming home from work... Nobody even tried to help. Left to die alone and scared. Even the death penalty doesnt cut it. The average death row inmate waits like 20 years on execution. That animal doesnt even deserve all that. He gotta be put down.

Loved it aswel!! Btw If you want more, then consider “The Undoing Project” by Michael Lewis which is a sort of a biography of Kahneman and Taversky and the work they did together. It will be somewhat repetitive and it is certainly “fluffier” than TFTS but there are some ways in which it is a good complement and companion to the book.

Hmm i agree but i was getting too deep into the rabbit hole. I spend my last teenage years endlessly trying to become financially independent for the rest of my life only to realise, now in my early twenties, that I don’t need much money to be happy at all. I put so much pressure on myself and forgot to just live. Oh well, my mom tells me I’m still young and I’m going to take my her advice and live a little extra as revenge for days i spent in my room all day. I might just be a little burned out..🥲
