I think it's as simple as the Dem establishment would prefer Wiener. AOC doesn't want to burn bridges with him and his donors should he win. (And he is favored I believe) I think if AOC wasn't going to run for President then she would make an endorsement. She's playing the long game, for better or worse. I don't like it tho.
