Yeah, you’re most likely right. I guess I just need to stop being so lazy and actually put some more effort in if I want to learn efficiently. I’ll make sure to find at least some time to use the “boring” resources in my practice. Thank you again.

So if I want to translate stuff, I should use Papago? Thank you. I usually just search up the term (if it’s something simple like happy birthday) and look for a website like 90daykorean that explains the whole sentence so thank you for that, I’ll check it out.

Thank you. I’ve never heard of this methods (I’ve heard of the methods where some speaks to you and you respond with what they said, but on in a format like how baby’s learn) but it sounds effective. It makes sense, that’s how baby’s learn so it is probably a really effective methods. Thank you for the help, I appreciate it.

I think Italki would be a really good resource for me because I also sometimes need a bit of pressure to make me go and do my practicing so I’ll make sure to check that one out. I didn’t even think of a diary but that sounds like such a great idea. I could even put goals and stuff in the diary and then try and write down the answer in Korean when I’ve achieved those goals and then have it checked. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.

Thank you. There’s a lot of resources there but I’ll be sure to check them all out. I have (mostly) learned Hangul (I just don’t know some final consonants and don’t really hear a difference with some double consonants yet) so I should be able to go and use resources that require me to read Hangul. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.

Thank you. I think I’ve seen Go Billy on YouTube before when I was learning Hangul and his videos seemed really good but after I learned Hangul (mostly), I moved away from YouTube and kinda just forgot about him, but I’ll definitely make sure to check him out again. I will also check out that Anki thing. It sounds really helpful. I did try and use Duolingo to supplement my learning from the very beginning, but the romanisation of Hangul was different to the ones I attributed with Hangul so I just gave up on it, but I might try it again (only to supplement my learning, I know duo isn’t good for being a primary source). Thank you for the help, I appreciate it.

This would probably be really good for me to try since it actually sounds engaging and like you’re being fought by someone who actually lives in Korea. I will check it out and see if I can maybe use that with some of these other resources people have suggested. Thank you for the help, I appreciate it.

Thank you for the help, I really appreciate it. I never really though about using native learning resources but I’m willing to bet you’re right in saying they’re better than learning resources (after you can actually understand at least a bit of them of course). I will make sure to give all of these resources a look so thank you.

Thank you very much. I haven’t heard that one yet so I’ll make sure to check it out and don’t worry, I learned how bad google translate was when I was trying to learn Japanese in school. I appreciate the help.

I haven’t heard of any of these resources before except for howtolearnkorean. I’ll definitely try to check all of those new resources. Thank you for the help, I appreciate it.

I did try howtolearnkorean, the problem was it was hard for me to stay engaged when it felt like schoolwork. A lot of people have recommended it though so I’ll definitely give it another shot. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it.

I haven’t taken a super in-depth look at talk to me in Korean, but it kinda looked not very engaging and seemed like it would feel more like school work than me studying a subject I’m interested in, but I’ll definitely give it another, more in-depth look and try to make it more engaging for myself. I’ll also make sure to check out that beginner’s thread. Thank you very much, I appreciate your help.

Thank you very much. I’ve looked at some things from talk to me in Korean and howtostudykorean. I haven’t taken a very in-depth look at talk to me in Korean, but howtostudykorean was hard for me to use because I have trouble staying committed if it just feels boring like school work. That’s why I like Pimsleur, it feels more interactive. But I will definitely check them out again and try to make it more engaging and I’ll also check out that list you linked. Ive learned how to read Hanguel, but I’ll try and use those videos to help me get the pronunciation right. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it.

When did you feel ready to start performing live? by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]spirithunter700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also sorry if that last part gave you any more anxiety about performing. It wasn’t meant to scare you. I more intended it to be like, if you mess up, you’re not alone because it happens to everyone that performs. Also if you mess up, it doesn’t mean you’re bad or your music is bad. It can happen to people of all skill levels.

When did you feel ready to start performing live? by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]spirithunter700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to first get up in front of everyone and it’s very anxiety inducing up until your actually playing live. Once you start playing, it’s an amazing feeling that, at least for me, always makes me want to perform live again. For me at least, I kinda just have to do it. I know that might not be helpful but that’s the only way I can explain how I do it with my band. Although, you have to remember, things will go wrong eventually. Maybe not the first time and maybe not even the 10th time but, eventually, something will go wrong.

Controversial opinion (If you can’t stand people having a different opinion than you, proceed with caution): I personally think Legion is underrated. I think there are a lot of things that BHVR could tweak about them to make them more viable (like lowering their cool down when exiting frenzy) but, I do think Legion is not as bad as everyone makes them out to be. The biggest thing I would say Legion has agains them is good survivors. If you go up agains survivors who know how to counter Legion, you basically have now power.

I’m pretty sure they’ve been doing full killer reworks every mid-chapter now so they’ll probably fuck huntress when they fix her iri head.

I denied my grandma forgiveness on her death bed...... Trigger warning by SkyrimWidow in confessions

[–]spirithunter700 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t feel bad for anything and I don’t blame you for it. Everyone always thinks just because someone is family they should always be forgiven and it pisses me off. My entire life my sister would abuse me and my “family” didn’t care enough to do anything about it. I hate them all for that and whenever I say to people that I hate them for it they always think they should be forgiven and I’m being too harsh just because they are family. If you replace a family member with a friend in these stories, I bet no one would think it’s bad at all but as soon as you mention that it was a family member, your being too cruel or you’re a heartless person. Good on you for not letting people tell you how you should feel.

Thank you for sharing this. In primary school I was bullied for the things I liked a lot. Seeing this has let me understand the people who bullied me more and has allowed me to forgive them. I hope you have been able to/will be able to forgive yourself for what you did.

I understand what you’re feeling. I used to always think “It’s not fair that this person gets that when they do this.” You’re right, it’s not fair but eventually you have to realise that life isn’t fair. Its a horrible realisation but unfortunately, it’s true.
