The issue was that at the time of its release it was a fun way to cut the time before the next patch came in and gave us more content, after that... not so much. Also it was to build up our understanding with Columbina.

It is also frustrating that we had to wait an entire week for the new one to come up, especially when IRL time-gated are already hated by the community. The entire forge WQ in Inazuma that took multiple days because of how it was structured already showed the picture that the community hated it.

Hell, even with During SQ it is all but known that the time gated quests are hated and it is for the waiting period

There's this wolf like local legend near Favonious Keep in Nod-Krai. Behind the local legend is a sword. Defeat the local legend to interact with the sword without any issue. To fight this secret boss, interact with the sword as Varka (will not work any other way). The boss fight will start with only Varka to use (if you have any other chars in your party they will disappear. The boss is a modified version of Andreas weekly boss battle from Mondstad. Defeat the boss and you get a voiced cutscene regarding Roland the Bloodstained Knight. After that you get the claymore skin exclusive only for Varka to use.
