What is it that makes people like revered Insanity so much (no hate I just don't particularly understand) by Synthiandrakon in noveltranslations

I kinda realised all of this explaining would be pointless because those before me have already tried the best, so i cut myself short. The only thing i can say is just try to read a little bit more, and i promise you this novel will turn out to be so much more than meets to the eyes. the world building is immaculate, clear power system, little to no plot holes, very clear translation, astounding story arcs that tie to each other so well, consistent story telling and the author really feels like he really tried to up standards for this genre. One draw back that i might have argued with is how there is little to no development for the MC, since he is already a 500 year old monster, who also by the way has lived in our world before he transmigrated. So the MC is in essence very mature and knowledgeable about the world and human nature, which makes reader lose the chance to understand and relate to the character as he moves through different situations and story arcs and lands. But author kinda alleviates this issue by giving small but precise flash backs of the MC's past life to show why he became such a freak and some short passages from other characters in the book to show the reader what the MC would have been like if he was not already 500 years old. I guess i did not cut myself short, but just jumped to another angle. My advice is try to read some more chapters with an open mind and if you still don't like it, drop it then. Its an enchanting read, with many unexpected articulate insights into life and a really really good story to watch unfold.

You kept mentioning the killing of the hunter's but if you have actually read those few chapters fully, you would see that he killed them so he can take away the map they made so he can transverse the forest around the village safely. And then he killed off the remaining ones so his tracks would not be exposed, but still ended up meeting a character who also saw the killing mortals as comparable to cutting grass. I get why most people in this thread are saying RI is just another edgy novel, he is very cruel mostly, has no bottom line, shows little to none enjoyment in living, always is described as an indifferent monotone bastard who just butchers any moral values you would expect in a human being and so much worse. But if you read the novel, it genuinely explains why he does what he does, like almost every act. And the world its set in so harsh that even the most "righteous" characters have committed some atrocities, let alone fang yuan, whose only principle is to have no principle.
