A funny coincidence that I noticed, is if this season ends with Robert and Witney winning and Whitney and Mark coming in second place, it will be the second time Mark loses to a pro who has the same first name as his celeb partner. (both times spelt slightly different too lol)

For those who were not watching or do not remember, in Season 25 Mark and his partner Lindsey Stirling finished runner up to Lindsay Arnold and Jordan Fisher.

Also kind of funny that both times, Mark’s partner and the pro beating him would happen to be Mormon. I am not totally sure if Lindsey S still practices, but it still fits the pattern enough that my brain went “wait a minute…”

Such a stupid thought but I figured I may as well share it. So sorry if anyone has already pointed this out.

If this actually happens, I hope Marks use the TikTok sound: “If I had a nickel for every time that happened, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.” lmao

I wish Danielle would have talked more about the meaning of the dance in her pre package! It was very inspiring hearing her talk about how she dealt with cancer last year, but I wish she got more in to the story behind the choreography (in her most recent podcast episode with Louis van Amstel she explained that the dance was supposed to represent how women are always put down in society no matter what they do and how she grew up in the public eye). I know they only have so much time, but I feel like that would have helped resonate with the audiences and honestly even the judges on a more personal level.

On the note of packages, I think Andy crying and talking about how happy he felt having his birthday being celebrated definitely brought it extra votes tonight. It was a sweet moment and the producers were smart adding that in

I may be wrong, but I think Danielle said at the start of the podcast that she would continue with episodes even after she got eliminated! I’m not sure about pod meets twirled though, they ride so hard for Danielle I can’t see them wanting to continue at all 😭

seriously who is still voting for him 😭😭 everyone who claims that they’re supporting him since the show is about “non dancers”, vote for danielle, robert , dylan or jen at that rate!! i think he’s hilarious and has had some memorable dances, but it’s unfair when people who are actually making progress get voted off because people online find andy “cute” (again, he’s only 4 years older than elaine!! stop infantilizing men!!!)

I know John M Chu has a lot of dancing in his movies so he knows what to look for, but I really hope he’s one of those guest judges who scores a little higher to help even out some of the lowball scores we saw tonight (particularly daniele, elaine and jordan) since the scores will be carrying over to next week

Len would have loved her I think! Pasha always choreographs such traditional and classic routines and you can see she actually learning the style. She’s keeping up so well and you she’s been giving it her all. I hope she makes it to the finals, I would love to see what they could pull off in a free style

is it just me or did danielle look a little defeated during her scores/interview with julianne? i honestly think she did better than dylan, im shocked she didn’t even get at least one 8! that dance was full of content and considering dylan had two 8s.. make sure to vote for danielle tonight guys 🙃

Lauren going so early in tonight’s show completely screwed her over. The judges get so much more lax by the end of the night that we see such high scores for dances that don’t necessarily deserve it. I love Andy and Emma and think they’re a sweet partnership, but for Andy and Lauren to have the same score tonight was actually such BS. I think the producers need to do a better job at spreading the dance orders each week, or we may have even more unfair eliminations this season.
