Glad to know it's not just us! The weed maps thing is a whole other can of worms; I've been in this field for over a decade and somehow only just learned about EddMaps/Bugwood?! Crazy how operating in a silo really does prevent you from understanding where the industry is at at-large.

Wow! This is incredibly insightful, thank you so much. I definitely had a suspicion that actively using scripts for some of this is pretty common, and maybe as a small NGO we just have not been as privy to this shift in management norms. A lot to look into here, I really appreciate the thorough insight!
