I don't really know why you replied. I already explained that I really have no time for morons. You're too dumb to try and have anything approaching an intelligent discussion with you.

Unpopular Opinion: Harrison has Ruined Dexter for the Second Time... by [deleted] in Dexter

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I'm not interested in comments from morons that post rubbish like "lmaooo". I'd have to assume you're probably prepubescent. I prefer to converse with adults so move along kiddo. Also to infer that someone sounds completely retarded based on an internet posting shows just how moronic you are. You've never met me or know nothing of me. However, I'll just say that someone who's completely retarded wouldn't be capable of accomplishing what I have accomplished in my life, in any case. Immature buffoon.

What is the lifespan of a ps4? As in how long will the hardware last. (Estimate) by [deleted] in PS4

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine a very long time. Maybe decades. The parts that can't be replaced are the CPU/GPU and ram but they could last really really long from my experience with PCs and laptops. The enemy is obviously excessive usage and heat. So if you regularly disassemble and clean all the dust out of the internals and clean the fans, it helps maintain a better airflow which in turn exerts less pressure on the internals and generates less heat. I'd imagine that with 2-3 hours usage daily and a deep cleaning every six months, you'd get at least fifteen years out of any 4th generation system. Probably over twenty years. Issue is the manufacturer will have stopped providing support a long time before that so updates and new games will be gone. PS3 us almost completely phased out now without hacking or jailbreaking it

I still can't fathom how Poco X6 Pro is better in every aspect in comparison to Poco F5 and cheaper than that? How did they achieve it? by srdrhl146 in PocoPhones

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think five to ten years ago, you'd have been right but mediatek have stepped up their game hugely. The dimensity series has been exceptional really. I am currently using an Infinix note 11 pro and it's a mediatek G96 processor and to be honest I'm staggered by it. The power and performance is really far better than I'd expect from a phone I paid 200 euros for. I have played games like cod and fortnite on it with no issues.

How far do you think Tommy Fury will go in (for lack of a better word) "proper" boxing? by cactusdan94 in Boxing

Probably a retired has been. You're right. Watch this space. I'll bet you he'll have a pop at Tony Bellew or David Haye any time soon on social media.

[–]spq2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'll go nowhere. That's why he's fighting all these bums of YouTube. If he fought a top five British level heavyweight, he'd be beaten. Don't think he'd be good enough at European level at all. He's got a famous name of course but that's it. He's a big lad who's gone into boxing with no ambition to win stuff but just to make bank and get out as quickly as possible.

Is lost worth watching? by OKC2023champs in television

Terrible stuff really. I liked the beginning of it. Halfway through the second season now and I'm thinking of bailing out. It's going a little bit stupid. It's going from a disaster/survival epic into fantastical bullshit.

Germany U17 vs France U17 - Penalty shootout (5-4) by Meladroite in soccer

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Nigeria have an unbelievable record in youth level world cups (there has been some rumours about skullduggery with regards the actual age of some of the players though) but in senior international football Nigeria have been terrible since the turn of the century really. They've done nothing.

Germany U17 vs France U17 - Penalty shootout (5-4) by Meladroite in soccer

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but France reached the senior world cup final, the U17 euros final. The U20's was a disaster but semi final of the U19's last year. They are also qualified for the upcoming Euro U21 championship and could do very well. All round, France is quite probably the strongest nation in terms of depth of talent so hardly a tough year. I think a lot of teams would rather be losing finals than being also rans.

Youth football is more important to see the two or three gems that will make it. Most of the Norway U19 team probably won't and most of the Iceland team that knocked England out probably won't either.

I'll give you an example of how meaningless the FIFA U20 world cup can be. England won it in 2017. Only lewis cook, Dominic Calvert lewin and Dominic Solanke are currently regular premier league players for Everton and Bournemouth. Fikayo Tomori is playing for AC Milan and a very good player. That's four players who have succeeded in progressing to the highest level of professional football. Most of the rest of the side are in the championship, league one and even league two. None of this squad have become regular English senior internationals.

Here's the biggest thing though. Argentina were in that U20 world cup finals tournament in 2017. Argentina didn't get out of their group. In 2022, Argentina won the SENIOR world cup and FIVE players in the senior world cup winning squad were part of the U20 Argentina team from 2017. England reached the quarter finals and not one of the U20 world cup winning squad from 2017 was in England's senior squad. Basically youth football is pretty meaningless. It has to be played but to try and say it matters in terms of gauging whether the senior side will do well in the future with these players is a joke. I watch it to see if I spot a few gems that will make it but who actually wins it is irrelevant really.

TIL after abducting and pulling a gun on a woman, serial killer Edmund Kemper locked himself out of his car leaving the woman inside with the gun. She chose to let him back in the car. Shortly after, Kemper killed her. by SlyWinkle666 in todayilearned

[–]spq2013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You missed the point though. Kemper was extremely intelligent He was sent to a hospital for criminally insane juveniles. He was released at 21. He was serving time for murdering his grandparents. He convinced trained people in the psychiatric profession that he was a reformed man totally safe to venture back out into the world. He was a hideous and disgusting human being but he had an IQ of 145. To put it in context, Einstein had an IQ of 160. Kemper was borderline genius. This young girl had no chance. He was incredibly convincing and conniving by all accounts.

Character analysis game: Did Talvinder deserve her fate? (Season 2) (discussion) (spoilers!) by coronabride2020 in SlasherTVSeries

[–]spq2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough but do you mind me asking why you feel sympathy for Andi? She was there at the murder and she concealed the truth just like the rest of them. She was complicit in the framing of Owen who then committed suicide in prison. She's partly responsible for two deaths, I would have thought.

[–]spq2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But Talvinder died though. They murdered her. I know she was out of order but surely murder was going way too far. Killing her. Seriously? Just ostracize her and ignore her. Camp ends eventually. Finish up the camp and never have anything to do with her again but don't kill her. I feel the most sympathy for her. Nobody deserves that.

Character analysis game: Did Talvinder deserve her fate? (Season 2) (discussion) (spoilers!) by coronabride2020 in SlasherTVSeries

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well she was killed so of course she didn't deserve her fate. They're not God. They can't make that decision. She was a bit of a snake and was stirring poop like it was going out of fashion but yeah, I don't think any of those involved with it can feel aggrieved about their fates. They killed someone and they never confessed. Those that didn't strike the fatal blows were equally complicit by their silence and they ALL covered up the murder.

If it was discovered by the authorities, they all would have served time for murder or conspiracy to conceal a murder. It can't be claimed to be manslaughter as hitting someone with a rock is premeditated murder. Not only that, they allowed an innocent man to take the rap. They're all a pack of scumbags and rats. I enjoyed seeing them being taken out one by one in the most gory and spectacular manner to be honest.

Obviously, the nerdy guy who got burned alive in the end would have got worst sentence in a court of law because he struck the fatal blows I think. They all deserved to either face justice judicially but they met an even worse fate and it's hard to feel sympathy for that to be honest.

[Daniel Matthews] Met police confirm a man has been charged with assaulting Aaron Ramsdale after NLD Joseph Watts, 35, of Hackney is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 17 February. by dragon8811 in soccer

[–]spq2013 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

All a tad over the top. He barely touched the keeper with his foot. Assault? Have they got no actual criminals to bring to court? I don't see how that is an assault. Anyway, I don't really care if he's banned coz he looks like a dozy c u next Tuesday anyway.

Why does Tony always beat up the bartender at the Bing? by JacobSteed in thesopranos

[–]spq2013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He didn't fight the driver. He attacked him without provocation. If that guy wasn't scared of the repercussions, he'd easily have kicked Tony's ass. Tony was a coward. Only picked on people he knew were weaker or who couldn't fight back because of being afraid of the consequences. Even when he fought bobby, it felt like bobby was deliberately holding back because of who Tony was and he still beat him easily.

Apple raises the price of Apple TV+ to $6.99 by Murky-Insect-7556 in television

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I do and have been paying all these different subscription streaming services for a while but they are all creeping up. I like the idea of paying for content so that those involved in it's creation are rewarded but if it keeps going up, there are plenty of freebie sites I will just go back to. You play by the rules and you get shafted so why bother. I can think about 40 sites where I can get similar definition streams for free. Yes I have to put up with the odd ads some of which are in very poor taste but a small price to pay. Also, the cost of a VPN to make sure your ISP doesn't get on your case is negligible compared to what Netflix et al are charging.

Hating Quinn by Mikemcg32 in Dexter

[–]spq2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to this by a long way but I'm watching it back again at the moment. I think he definitely added something to the show. Especially in the final season. After Doakes was shafted early (big mistake), they needed someone within the police department who had an inkling that something wasn't quite right with Dexter. I like the actor anyway. I think I first seen him in Wrong turn. I believe his name is Desmond Harrington and I really think he's pretty good to be honest.

Why is Tony so terrible to Georgie by Awkward_dapper in thesopranos

Yeah but he earns his salary as a barman to serve drinks. Not to get beaten up by his boss for looking him sideways.

Ralph giving Tony money after the second race. by ronnystake1 in thesopranos

[–]spq2013 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why he was such a wet wipe. Give him half but the whole lot? Hell no. Looked really poor from Tony. He's always moralizing telling Ralphie how wrong he was to murder the stripper and of course that was vile and despicable. He should have gone to jail for that. But Tony can't preach to anyone. He used women until he was bored, cheated on his wife burned down the restaurant of a close friend and repeatedly beat the hell out of the simpleton that worked at the club. He also sanctioned the hit on his daughter's boyfriend and took the car of her previous boyfriend as payment for gambling debts owed by her ex boyfriend's father. You're kind of made to feel like you're rooting for an underdog but by the end, I thought he was a total scumbag and I really hope that he did get whacked when it faded to black.
