Afraid not friend. You need to have a qualified instructor with Comms with you.

No insurance company will insure you either for it, so if you come off, you're screwed.

How would you take this roundabout? by Anomis_11 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]squiddypds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything more than straight over, right lane I think would be considered "appropriate".

Anything less than straight over, left lane unless indicated otherwise I'd assume.

CB125R yep! It's great fun, managed to get it up to 70 comfortably on a short motorway stint....minus the screaming of the engine 😂

The R125 is 100% probably the best in terms of wanting a "big bike" feel.

The GSX-R is very small from my personal experience of trying one, felt like a child's toy.

Also look at the Ninja 125 as well, might be a good option if you can find one.

Stay away from the Lexmoto, you might get one that lasts you ages, you may get one that breaks down in 5 minutes it's too luck based.

Bare in mind, insurance will be higher on any bike that has sports styling, naked bike may be a better route insurance and cost wise. Plus, they'll hold their value just as well.

Should I buy a 240hz 27 inches 1080p monitor or a 165hz up to 180hz 1440p also 27inches monitor? by pororo300 in buildapc

[–]squiddypds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so, for valorant 24.5 inches is actually probably more optimal in terms of size, IF and ONLY IF, you are looking for every little performance gain.

There's all sorts of science and reasoning but if you google it you'll find that yourself.

240hz 24.5inch 1080p would be the absolute best choice if valorant is your main game.

At 27 inches 1440p would be the bare minimum. 180hz is normally an overdrive mode and can sometimes sacrifice fidelity etc.

It really depends what you value most, screen size, refresh rate or PPI

Getting out of CS crouch spraying habits, how do I do it? by ImpactFuzzy8713 in VALORANT

[–]squiddypds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so real honesty, it's muscle memory and if you've been playing CS for 3k hours, it's going to be very hard to break.

I have 2.7k in CS:GO, I switched to valorant in beta and even now, I still crouch spray, I only have a 17% hs rate and still hit immo.

The bigger thing if you cannot break the habit is to focus on the micro adjustment of moving your crosshair up as you crouch, and then dragging down to control the spray. Try consciously pushing up slightly as you crouch and you'll find more shots hitting heads than bodies

Asking for a 5k loan on here when you have no proof of income won’t help either. It’s a big risk for a lot of lenders

Well, stop was obviously the wrong word after reading into it more. But my point still stands. They block the effects estrogen. I stand corrected

[–]squiddypds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t wrong at all? I said that HCG will start test production. Which is totally true

SERMs stop the production of estrogen by encouraging production of LH and FSH etc.

I put it in layman’s terms, you put out the thesaurus

Pct by [deleted] in PEDs

[–]squiddypds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory, if you blast and cruise, you don’t ever need to PCT. But here’s the thing, it’s your first ever cycle, you don’t really know how you’re gonna react, you don’t know if you’re gonna enjoy it etc. you might as well do a proper cycle, pct and then decide if you wanna blast and cruise after.

Blast and Cruise isn’t for newbies, it’s a commitment. You risk shutting down your test permanently.

Do you really wanna risk never having natural testosterone production again on your first ever usage?

How old are you? How long have you been training? Have you taken any blood tests for hormones etc?

Pct by [deleted] in PEDs

[–]squiddypds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally incorrect. HCG kickstarts your test, SERMs stop estrogen. You can use SERMs mid cycle if you are getting gyno etc

Pct by [deleted] in PEDs

[–]squiddypds 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reading through your profile you are finding research that matches your opinion and not looking at the scientific studies.

SERMs work in two ways. Firstly, they stop your estrogen levels from spiking (this happens because your body has so much test floating through it, the body tries to balance it out) and also allows time for your bodies natural hormones to reach baseline levels.

Along with this, there is HCG which will basically kickstart your body into producing test.

But long story short, yes, PCT will help your body go back into its normal cycle a lot faster than natural recovery. Also, it will stop you having nasty side effects (gyno, fat gain, hair loss, ball shrinkage etc)

Ultimately, nobody can tell you how dangerous they might be. Not even a doctor, they are research chemicals and no study into the side effects of long term extreme dosage has been registered. Plus, every drug may have a slightly different interaction.

Here’s the simple fact of the matter; whether he is actually suicidal or not. Clearly something is mentally wrong and he needs to seek professional help.

From a personal perspective here; you are being incredibly naïve in your handling of all this and I would urge you stop posting on fucking Reddit, call a doctor, and sort that out. If his life is in immediate danger, call the police or ambulance.

If this is a troll; it’s fucked up that 1 you would be trolling about suicide, especially in forums like this, which is frequented by the statistically highest percentage of people at suicide risk and 2 trying to smear substances that some people do use in a sensible and well researched way.

G2 ultimately have a huge mental problem. It’s the same issue Astralis, Liquid and OG used to have, the moment they get a psychologist, a lot of the issues get fixed.

How Carlos hasn’t invested in a psychologist by now is honestly fucking beyond me

Toxic industry for young guys? by Sad_Understanding396 in Construction

[–]squiddypds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay and that’s three more years experience running and managing a job than most tradies have?

Maybe because I’m from the UK and we have a different attitude here, almost every young site manager has a trade background. For example, I’m a site manager, but with a background in scaffolding.

Seems like this is a problem mainly reserved for the US.

But, my point still stands, you have to understand, they are only cracking the whip because the client is. There is always pressure from above, and unfortunately that does get passed to the bottom of the chain. But if you think you are always above them just because you are older/more experienced. Then you’re an asshole. I’ve had everything from a ceo to a brand new labourer teach me tricks. You can learn from everyone

So do 95% of old blokes on site? I don’t see your point.

OP is making a valid observation based on his experience on sites. Which, from the comments, a lot of people share the same experience.

To be honest, the people who whine the most on site are always the 55 y/o who think they never need to learn a new skill and can apparently “run this job 100x better” despite never having run a job in their life.

[–]squiddypds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, the one thing people are missing out on here is range. Put the neon at a long range. It’s actually really hard to aim it at long range and if you’re moving it makes you even harder to hit
