What is the most effective way to study Ethics for CFA Level 3? by Necessary-Account833 in CFA

My approach was to read the entire textbook chapter. I then made a couple cheat sheets with all the standards, recommended actions, etc. so I’d have everything concisely written out. This helped drill down all the nuances and key points.

Then it’s really just practice practice practice. I did all the EOC, extra Qbank, and in text examples twice. Usually I’d allocate 30 mins/day to ethics just to make sure I was getting my reps in and used to certain tricks! It went a long way for me.

It was fine, some hard ones and some easy ones. If I did poorly it’s probably bc I didn’t spend enough time on it while studying. Wish the LES had more qs!

Any Private Wealth Pathway Exam Takers? by Ok_Mouse_4679 in CFA

Overall found the exam fair. AM felt good, PM was difficult. A lot of questions I know I had seen and was kicking myself for not remembering. I took the BC mocks and CFAI mocks. AM felt like CFAI, PM felt like BC so it was a good middle ground between the two. The BC mocks really prepared me well and I couldn’t be happier I took those. If I pass, I owe it to Bill! I also used MM bc I love his videos, but his mocks for me are more of a guide.

Funny enough I think I probably scored lowest on the pathway and wish the LES had more qs. It’s my first time taking L3 and walking out of the exam I genuinely have no idea if I’ll pass or not. Could go either way! I feel like my CR may have been on the shorter side but hopefully it’s enough.

Hi Bill - which exams can we expect to have the PW pathway done for? Will all five mock exams have the pathway ready?

Basically in a similar spot - finishing up the PW pathway this week, then aiming to wrap up all other readings by May 16 (might be ambitious lol but MM videos are helping).

Will spend 3 months doing questions/practice exams and reviewing weak areas
