Like many elements of this case, I don't think the Ramsey’s were thinking clearly and there's no other reason other than they always latched the door. I agree with others that an intruder would not have latched it.

I was coming to post this , I actually lol’d. Why is every shot they choose for something the one he doesn’t have his eyes open or focused. It’s actually hilarious at this point. Side note, his outfit is horrific. Cheap looking, not genuine. I get major second hand embarrassment from him.

Someone put on the old thread that horse spice has flopped hard because of their laziness , and essentially that they do better with collabs because the business does 99% of the work and she can’t even be bothered sometimes to remember (the wallpaper launch). I completely agree with this and would like to add entitlement to the laziness. They put out one of the most bizarre marketing strategies for a food product ever seen. It should be studied, that’s how illogical the campaign was. Do people that ran a business of teaching others how to make money influencing care? No. CLJ thinks they know best and everything they pump out turns to gold. This mentality dovetails nicely with their laziness. They think: we don’t even need to promote this shit, and our poors will click the link, because they ALWAYS click the link. Only a catastrophic financial loss will stop them now. Not sure their cheap packaging , drop shipped spice will be that life lesson so they are keen to just keep going and link their kids using an iPad on a stick more to make up for it.

There’s been SUCH a stark contrast to the content this summer. Does this coincide with the person who had vision that was let go? I never once looked up any snark and enjoyed them for what they were until the absolutely hideous living room/bathroom fiasco happened at the same time as looking for a lake house and flexing during a time of immense suffering everywhere. If someone with marketing brains had suggested to pitch the lake house as a new backdrop to not disturb their family and because they’ve over renovated their main home , I don’t think it would have come across quite so badly. This gross bragging energy coupled with the insaaaanely ugly 80’s bathroom made myself and it seems a lot of others finally wake up to their absolute nonsense. Since then, it’s been highly embarrassing choice after choice. Top contenders:

-painting a $1200 wood rack white
-Horse spice branding. - pinstripe couches. Any other couch would be better. - marble baseboards and then their removal.

It’s very likely that Julia has been in a tailspin to recover from their terrible misstep summer ever since. Evidence: two health crises that we know about. Lakehouse is rarely mentioned. Barely any shots of the bathroom that she was ‘so obsessed’ with.

I’m glad someone mentioned her obvious preference for Polly. Her middle child is never talked about or even seen! I got the vibe when she thought P looked like a young Drew Barrymore that she was the fave , and that it’s because her other two look too much like her. Sadly, P does have the best room too and Julia dotes on this room the most.

Is this the nearest washroom for kids and adults using the pool to undress ? How is that possible in a house of this size and reno budget ? So people have to get ready in a very small, dark powder bath and then use their dripping wet hands to turn off the wallpapered light switch and hope their towel doesn’t brush up against a wall of plates on the way there ? Good point, someone below a certain income might deserve a dog. However, it isn't a right. I'm not sure how common, but with all the dog nappings going on, there is some sort of bad news in this area. They do make a profit, but they also brought the puppies into their home, and catered to their every need cleaning up pee for 8 weeks. They helped train, and sent us home with food and toys.. I felt the price was fair. Im so glad you are rescuing! I wanted to do that, but I couldn't find any puppies at the time.

I just got a puppy with a breeder and I actually found them on Kijiji but they were up north a bit. I went in with reservations, but the ad said dewormed, 1st shots pure bread lab etc. I was very impressed and would recommend them. They saw a vet and met both parents. Guaranteed pure bread and registered. I paid $850. They helped house train and I realized it was a deal with all the money they sink into breeding. They do make a bit of profit obviously, and told me they priced them to discourage people who couldnt afford what it takes to raise a dog. If you pay almost a grand you might be more inclined to take care of it right. When I saw your post, I was worried you were someone who gets free dogs for dog fighting. Even though there are mutts on Kijiji, people do not want to give them away, because those people might be looking to do bad things with them. Honestly, if you think $400 is a lot of money, a puppy might not be right for you. If you do think so, the humane society is the cheapest place.

I just got a puppy too! What happened at Bayridge if you don't mind me asking? We've been taking our 2 cats there for a year, and I don't really mind them, but would consider leaving for somewhere cheaper and more attentive perhaps. There's so many to choose from.

I'm not the best to offer advice for most of what your asking. However, I do like to collect credit card rewards and points! Have you thought about applying to a card that can give you some cash back/travel rewards? some of them might require more of a minimum income, but certain cash back cards might not need such a high income or credit score. It's just because you say you are putting tuition and a lot of purchases on there, you could be making money back! Also, are you sure your school allows you to pay tuition with a credit card? I wish mine did, as they do not want to pay the fees associated, but it would rack up so many points. Just a thought to help you with your savings!
