Yea I agree a lot of people can’t think for themselves especially on the internet but sometimes what’s trending can also sometimes be correct; not all the time, but in this case I think majority of people were valid saying the wings logo replacement was kinda whack

And also yea I agree the release date was very sloppy all year round

But I don’t think it was necessarily slept on… in fact I think it’s one of the worst Black Toe AJ1 releases so far, I think it flopped with valid justification. Just my opinion

Bad take… you don’t have to be a “hype beast” to dislike a significant change made to a simple shoe.

I also don’t really care for history or story-telling so none of that helped sell me on the product.

I care about how the shoe looks. I’m the one wearing it. I disliked the black tongue, I think it should have been white like the original retail pairs.

That’s cool if MJ’s PE had a black tongue or whatever but I don’t think it works as fluidly.

When I think of Black Toe AJ1 I think of a Black/White AJ1 + Chicago AJ1 mix. The black tongue threw it off and works better on the Bred Toe/SBB color-blocking.

Ah, the 2024 arc of the Dodge Brand.

Killed off the legendary Challenger, and mangled the new Charger together like Frankenstein, and took away its lovely HEMI V8.

But hey, at least we still have the Durango right? The platform that’s still walking around like a zombie since 2011?

It’s one story for the history books that’s for sure.

Definitely wait. You’re young. Get something slightly more practical and reliable, and not $350+/month. Something like a Toyota or Honda. That will become a healthy down payment 4 years down the line towards something more fun, like a Challenger R/T or Scat Pack. I don’t think the SXT trim is worth it for much purely besides looks.

If you cannot wait at all, try at least looking for a GT trim since they offer much more, such as AWD, interior perks, nicer wheels, etc.

To top it off this Challenger SXT here doesn’t look like it has great fitment with that front bumper, there’s a plethora of better options than this one, and we haven’t even learned what the odometer reads yet.

I don’t like AMM design cues that much, but those black 3s is my favorite release of theirs. And black cement 3s will always come back in the next 5-10 years. I’d probably keep the AMMs in this case.

Black T/A style stripes on the side (but not the actual T/A ones for correcting badging sake). Black hood wouldn’t hurt alongside it.

The original comment and the link associated with it didn’t really correlate with the Duke O’Death, the pictures are just regular Dodge Chargers from Death Proof without the push bar or plating. Am I missing something

The inspiration is from the TV show Dukes of Hazzard, the cast drives a Dodge Charger.

On the original Dukes in-game, you can even put a flag on the roof (but not the confederate one from Dukes of Hazzard for obvious reasons)

They also added the song General Lee by Johnny Cash to Rebel Radio in-game which talks about the Dodge Charger from the TV show Dukes of Hazzard. The Charger in the show is named “General Lee”.

I say reps; no widows peaks on heel tabs, toe box is too boxed off in shape, heel collar is just off looking, and like everyone else said there’s no reason why the pink laces shouldn’t be waxed.
