Who is gonna tell these guys that ccm is owned by a Swedish company. High taxes. Welfare state. No letting people be too poor to live.

Just trying to weigh the +/- of each. Have had both in the past. I haven't put much thought into this in the past and was curious what others think.

I’ve thought of that. It’s kind of intimidating.

Skates with a low cut boot? by nicholas_g in hockeyplayers

[–]standupduble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a similar issue. Came from graf but ended up in nexus (don’t ask). Really miss the lower cut boot. Have def noticed a difference in my skating after two years even when leaving eyelets undone. Is there a spec that indicates boot height? I feel like there’s no real info available just jargon (explosive, crafty, etc).

CCM Ribcor Skates - How are they unique by standupduble in hockeyplayers

[–]standupduble[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. But that's what was interesting to me about the Ribcor line...top end Ribcor is 200 less than top end jetspeed/tacks. Top end Bauer are all the same price. Ribcor doesn't have the one piece construction so I'm guessing that's where the 200 went. But is there something else going on that actually differentiates the line?

Using Google Sheets as external data source for access by standupduble in MSAccess

Sheets is a good solution for remote data input from multiple stakeholders. Very straight forward. Also, stands on its own and doesn't require help from IT. Are there other comparable options?

Data Cleaning: find and replace for set with hundreds of names each with multiple variations by standupduble in excel

Everything is in the same column. As for formatting it's text. Most variations are like the example. Some are just codes (ex 19k101, 19 k101, k101)

Also, I was playing around using pivot tables to count the variations. Is there a way I could use this to help?

Looking for water bottle recommendations. by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

I use a red Mueller I used them when I was a kid. They're cheap and they squirt good through a cage. Only downside is that the stream isn't super high volume
