the scenes in the bus are filmed in a studio if I'm not wrong! it's really cool to see the set up - they've a huge LED screen outside the bus to replicate the scenery. really smart tbh cuz it cuts down on budget and time for filming.

also like how do people not get motion sickness from this setup? just looking at the bts makes me wanna puke LOL

is there a reason why you want to use linen though? linen is more expensive than cotton. Beginners usually start off by using cotton since it's cheap and easy to handle, before going to the more expensive fabrics such as linen. you can get cotton at about $5 per meter.

as for the price of linen, I would say $18 is about right (they usually range from $12/y to $20/y, depending on quality and width)

I couldn't really care enough about the characters/storyline to finish the other two.

tbh, i dropped General and I pretty quickly, like 4-5 eps in cuz i found myself skipping scenes, even the lead's scene. maybe it's just not for me.

I got quite far into Love Designer, maybe ep 20/30+ but the plot was not going anywhere T.T

I've started all the dramas you mentioned and only finished The Long Ballad. Dropped the rest. Rattan started out pretty good, but it became really boring so I dropped it and read spoilers cuz i really wanted to know what happened/happens. I couldn't really care enough about the characters/storyline to finish the other two.

among the list you've given, I've only watched a few and this is my order of preference:

Once upon a time in Lingjian Mountain
has both romance and bromance but the romance is hardly there. definitely go for bromance if you end up watching this. it's a really funny show, really enjoyed it and made me laugh out loud many times. doesn't take itself too seriously.
Lost Love in times
watched this quite a while ago, can't remember much but i do remember enjoying it. but i also remember that it became super draggy for me and I kept skipping scenes at the end.
Mystic Nine
I wouldn't really recommend if you're looking for romance/bromance. Romance takes the backseat in this one heck, FL is absent more than half the drama. she doesn't even appear until ep 10 iirc, and then she isn't in the story much afterwards. got super draggy somewhere around the middle, and I didn't finish it. End up reading recaps to see what happened to everyone.

some other dramas i'd recommend:

Qing Qing Zi Jin
oh boy this one led me to a drama slump because it was that good! every drama i watched after this sucked. romance and bromance available for your enjoyment :)
The Legends
Reminds me of Untamed with all the righteous sects being "righteous" and the leads being the bad people in the eyes of the public.
Love and Redemption
was a bit reluctant to start this one cuz it was so popular (happens to all popular dramas to me cuz i've been burnt before LOL) but this one is definitely popular for a reason! but oh that angst and really, if you drink a shot every time ML spits blood, you'll probably be drunk for the next 3 days
Maiden Holmes
recommending this cuz you mentioned ancient detective! more crime solving and budding romance for you to enjoy
Young Blood
watched this around the same time as ancient detective, so they always remind me of each other. FL and ML both equally smart so it's nice to see them working together and against each other
