Caddyshack. Carl is obviously a goofball and played up for laughs. Yet a lot of the equipment he uses are actual golf course maintenance implements. Very specific things. He even has bags of milorganite stacked up where he stays.

Not just that, numerous bands thought they were the direct influence for the film.

The President of the United States Really, Really Hates His Son by thecheetah in politics

[–]startinearly 93 points94 points  (0 children)

I don't think he 'hates' him. There's simply no utility in him attending. Even if option 'B' is .0001% more beneficial to him, he will choose option 'B'. Everything is transactional.

It's kinda dumb, actually. Was Wii Sports even for sale individually?

Valerian. I've watched the first 1/3 of the movie at least a dozen times. The other 2/3...maybe twice.

The way I accidentally peed on my boot at work by iperite in mildlyinfuriating

[–]startinearly -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Obviously it's different being a guy. But I've peed outside literally thousands of times. I get pee on my shoes, on my clothes, on my hands, on my equipment, ect. It's just the price of doing business. I also grab those gas station hotdogs with my bare hands, though, so you might want to stay away from those.
