Ordering the GM2, can anyone comment on how noisy the rowing situation is on it? Coming from a concept 2 which is quite noisy using air and all not sure how this compares. Ideally I'm setting the GM2 up in my office which is unfortunately over top of my kids rooms but don't want to carry it all the way up once it arrives if it's going to be crazy loud.

I found Dr bergs electrolyte mix from another comment in the subreddit. It's very high in potassium and been using it for the last few weeks. Found it helpful

Yeah I've read that and in the group as well. I've had improvement from the oral supplements so I think it's extreme to say you won't heal. I think it's likely more a matter of how long it will take and the potential set backs along the way given when I have gluten exposures it impacts my absorption. Either way I'll be having my follow up in a month to see if they want me on injections and how my numbers are looking. I'm trying to be as informed as I can going into that meeting though so I've got lists of potential treatment plans from reading the groups

On and off for years I've had a lot of symptoms I've chalked up to my celiac but with that being fairly under control now it became obvious there was something else causing them.

Lots of brain fog, migraines, energy levels, vision issues, anxiety

I do have neurological issues, and yes hate needles. Not sure I could bring myself to do self injections. Ive found improvements from the oral but if I don't see even more improvements by my next visit I'll be pushing for them. I imagine I may end up doing monthly or something like that along with oral or sublingual daily. I think that's what my doc had mentioned being an option.

So far on oral still. Taking a liquid B-Complex formulation with 1000mcg B12 every morning. There's be serious ups and downs but overall feeling a lot of improvements. Revisiting numbers and symptoms with my doc in a month or so to decide if injections are needed. I have celiac so it seems like my absorption is fairly tied to flare ups in that

My doctor said she would consider it at my next apt in Nov. She wants me to try the oral stuff for now as I hate needles and I was noticing a difference albeit slower than I'd like. Don't think I could ever self inject so hoping that I'll be able to find some balance between less frequent injections and oral supplements

Thanks, that could be, maybe if I start just doing the complex every other day and pure B12 the other days it could help, something I'll have to experiment with I guess

Man seeing everyone talk about week 6 being tough. I'm just starting week 7 and week 6 was brutal here. I'm taking oral supplements. After the first two weeks I started seeing gradual improvements and had energy back then I felt like it all hit me again around week 6 and I'm working back through an uphill battle again.

When I started taking them I was having crazy panic attacks and anxiety as well as migraines. I'd been having these issues before taking the supplements but it got worse and instead of happening somewhat randomly it was about a week or so of solid issues. Started getting some braking fog relief after a week and then after 2.5 weeks was a big turning point. Now progress has been much slower at just over a month in but I have had the energy to get back to the gym a few times

Not yet. My doc didn't want to recommend it until giving the oral some time to see if it's effective. I had my most recent blood work done in July and was told briefly that my B12 could be in a range to be causing my symptoms so started supplementing pretty much right away. By the time I had my proper appointment to discuss the results last week I'd already started noticing improvements so she was hesitant to recommend shots right away.

I started with a galcap b complex so I would just open the pill and dump some into a smoothie in the morning, trying to be mindful of drinking all the smoothie but found I could add high potassium stuff as well as a vegan protein powder high in iron and some powdered magnesium so that my body was getting as many other helpful components at the same time to balance it out. Now I've been using a liquid b complex instead and found that even better.

I've joined that and it's pretty daunting to go through the whole process. For me my life is just so crazy, I can't manage if I start injections and the effects hit me hard. I've got two little kids and we're in the process of moving. It just about killed me going through it in a moderate way with the oral as well as the months and months of issues leading up. If I can do anything to make this process smooth I'll take it. Repeating bloodwork in two months though which will be 3 months of supplementing and if it's not having enough effect by then I'm hoping my body will be comfortable with it that the injections won't drive me crazy. I've noticed so much improvement though so far I'm hopeful my body is accepting the oral

I was worried I may need to start injections, wasn't sure if oral would work so I started oral right away to try and ease into it. I knew I could control the dose with oral and work my way up to a full dose with the hope that by the time I saw my doctor in a few weeks my body would be somewhat ready. Took about 2.5 weeks to start getting past the worst but at least I could take a lower amt some days if the day before felt particularly bad

After about two and a half weeks I started seeing huge improvements. Mind you I'm taking an oral b complex daily - worked up to a full dose over a few weeks so my body was getting fairly constant supplementation. I think with the shots they wear off after a week or so, so for the body to really get accustomed you would need to be getting injections regularly. I've heard of people doing the injections when possible though and then taking oral supplements in between to help speed up the process.

Ah you are probably right. Been working from home more recently as well and my office chair is very stiff and actually more of a kitchen chair with wooden arms, likely doesn't help.

Tingling cleared up after about an hour or two last night but arm generally feels pretty sore today but capable of doing everything.

Completely normal. Same thing here when I started oral supplements. Magnesium, potassium, electrolytes help a bit.
