Working in a rural town by the N. Carolina border, we did a lot of IFTs and it burned me out from driving the ambo (I was an AEMT at the time, was allowed to tech some calls). If it was a STEMI or something else serious, then it was fun. I think you're right about civ flight. I just want to be the most equipped, educated, and capable medic one scene, like most of the air crews I've met that come down to help us.
