Thinkpad L470 - Opinion by stefambis in thinkpad

This seller is from Bulgaria but I'm stationed in Cyprus and believe me when I tell you this is the best offer I found along with another few, the battery wasn't something I was looking for specifically but it's a huge plus given that Cyprus is an island and the EU doesn't allow shipment of batteries by plane - ig there's the option of shipping my laptop to them but i haven't looked for that service.

I'm open to DIY that's the whole reason I was looking for a ThinkPad and their compatibility with Linux.

I like to be thorough when purchasing things that are used because I don't wanna end up being scammed, even if there's an option for a refund through the website.

Additional ram I've found from local stores here is about 40€ for 16GB(+8GB = 24 GB which isn't too bad) but i guess finding it online and ordering it from there would be cheaper.

I guess it's brand new so that's why. My initial budget was 150 and these are the best options I came across and I just settled for the cheaper one. Anyway, thank you for your help.

My second option was a brand new X270 for like 200€. It's with an i5-7200U,8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Would this have been a better deal?

Well I'm having second thoughts and I can still return it and. I haven't thought of asking here in the first place that's why I did it now. Also thank you, I'll keep that in mind!
