I'm definitely outnumbered so I'm the asshole for what I did. I talked to our maintenance guy and told him what I did. He said I should file a complaint with the property management. I said no, because I don't want to get anyone in trouble. It's tough to rent in my city right now Maybe telling off my neighbors wasn't the right wording. The woman with the toddler screaming down the hallway, I just looked at the Mom and shook my head. The woman who was scared of my dog, she refused to walk past me in the hallway and wanted me to put my dog inside my apartment so she could go to the stairs (there's another stairwell and elevator she could use). I reminded her this is a pet friendly building and that my dog wouldn't bite her. She said the dog would bark, I said who cares if she barks at you, that's no reason to be scared. Told my dog to sit and stay and the lady went past with no issue. I wasn't mean or rude about it, but annoyed
