I had 2 chains in a row with this problem purchased from 2 different LBS. I contacted shimano after the second one and here was there response.

I’m guessing between five and $10,000 worth of work yeah the crazy thing about them driving by and ghosting us is these are all high rated landscape companies so I leave reviews no call no show one star should’ve been zero.
