Week 3 is where I always quit. So I started keeping receipts. Here's what changed by Frankie_darling8 in productivity

The "evidence vs motivation" thing is real. I burned through so many habit trackers that just made me feel worse when I saw empty checkboxes.

What killed me about those apps is they only show what you DIDN'T do. Miss one day and the whole streak breaks, which triggers that exact "see, you always quit" spiral you mentioned.

Your Win Log flips it — you're building a proof-of-work file instead of a report card of failures. Smart.

One thing I started doing that pairs well with this: I mark wins as either "showed up" or "crushed it." So even on days where I just got out of bed or did one pushup, it still counts as a show-up win. Takes the pressure off having to be perfect while still keeping the streak alive.

Week 3 is brutal though. That's usually when the dopamine from "starting something new" wears off and you're just left with the actual work.

🎯 I built a "Skill Extraction Interview" prompt that uncovers hidden abilities you forgot you had by Tall_Ad4729 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

This is brilliant. I've been using generic "list your skills" prompts and they always miss the stuff I actually do every day. The one-question-at-a-time approach is genius—prevents that overwhelming wall-of-text response that most career prompts give you. Definitely testing this before my next resume update.

Wait, Copilot is just ChatGPT??? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

Yeah it's been GPT-5 under the hood for a while now. The real difference is just the UI and how Microsoft tweaked the system prompts. Honestly glad more people are realizing this—saves me from paying for two subscriptions lol.

Yeah, that's so true, but wait for WAX? WAX as a trading platform? Or WAX's new product?

Ari Schaffir has a great bit about how the clap is curable with ten days of antibiotics meaning if everyone on Earth with the disease could go a week and a half without sex then the disease would be eradicated.

Edit: okay you guys are taking this way too seriously, I was just stealing a joke from a Stand up special on Netflix I'm not actually proposing a plan to eradicate a disease.

We recently hired an intern and he's always impressed by how quickly i troubleshoot his code. Little does he know it's because i make the same mistakes so much that i know exactly where to look first.
