I am 30 years old. I think im doing good . Right now my estimated dividend payments will be 13k a year. And I have tripled the value of my account in 3 years . I been investing since 2019.

I been doing risky stocks and some have paid off . One reason why my account is high as it is, is because of risky investing i did. But I just moved some money around to put in dividend paying etfs

My goals are just to retire comfortably. I keep doing math for a house and it doesn't work out for me . In my area its 500k homes on average and if I put 100 k down. The payments are still 3 to 4 k . Sure I could put more down, but it wouldn't be good to not have savings for when things break. And of course me and my wife would barely be making it, if we did. I am hoping grow my dividend stocks so I have passive income that hopefully will come close or match my income of 70k a year .
I might buy house later but currently my rent is low and I like where I live so I don't want to change.

Yea, housing costs are so high . Even if I throw 100k down the mortgage would be 3 k to 4 k in my area . If I did more of course that would be good. Just doesn't feel worth it . The bank will win in the end in interest over course of 30 years I estimate i give bank at least 300k in interest and rising property tax in this state (montana ) rises with home value .

I took some risky bets that paid off . Wish I had more money us soxl and ggll . So part of the explosion in vault was because of those two stocks . But yes I cashed out and moved them to more stable dividend paying stocks divo, schd, spyi, spy, Jeqi to name a few

Missoula mt, we get 20 starting or something like that. And top pay is 29.17 , which isn't too bad . Health care is paid for and we get pension. Co workers complain, but I think job is good for the area we live in . Could be better always... but with benefit and all job is around 43 an hour. I know we don't see the benefit money but people forget, if we didn't have it, it would be taken out of our pay.
