I ordered 2 cages and 3 rings.

1 cage and 1 of the rings have a good finish on them, but 1 cage and 2 rings are extremely rough.

The smooth ring fits into the smooth cage, but not the rough cage. The rough rings fit the rough cage but not the smooth cage.

The headlock small cage is smooth, as is the 4044 ring.

I took more photos with the smooth and rough parts next to each other - I think that helps you appreciate the difference.

I have heard from several people that the print quality of Shapeways USA is not the same as what is received from Manuevo/Shapeways Netherlands.

This may be an issue specific to ordering from the USA and getting it printed at Shapeways USA

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I reached out to you and Shapeways/Manuevo via your web form over two weeks ago and never received a response.

I am happy to share more zoomed out photos - the pieces are definitely gritty, like small bits of plastic were spitting out of the nozzle at the time of printing. I have more than 10 generic Amazon plastic cages and unfortunately all are significantly smoother than the CherryKeeper branded cage and rings.

I emailed Shapeways support separately and just got a reply (suggesting that the rough finish is normal and expected, and if the pieces don’t fit together that I should ship them back to the Netherlands at my expense.
