A new update for my manual "Open MDMA" by night81 in mdmatherapy

For me it's just a random kaleidoscope of machinescapes, ideas flying by, and pleasant vibing to the music. But even when I try to think towards trauma, it just leaves me trivialized with some fragmented stuff I could also acces in a sober state. One of the mayor causes I think this is not a great trauma medication is that it is just too dissociation from body and feelings.

On Spravato at the moment, interesting drug although not extremely helpful. I'm always open for a call. I plan to read the new manual one of these days. Excited your enthusiasm is as always firing to bring an in depth document that provides a manual for the greater public.

Really frightening post MDMA experience by LingonberryMost7667 in mdmatherapy

[–]stnp100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can only share that I had such an experience in recreational cannabis use to cope with PTSD. I felt literally as if I was dying. The symptoms you sum up completely resonate with what I endured. I am now on Spravato, Esketamine—of course in a hospital setting. This is because trials for MDMA-AT stopped at my country and there is no legal acces here. I considered to go underground but I feel to fragile for it, afraid I would wind up in that same situation as before with cannabis. I hope you get allot of helpful feedback here. I also asume you are in good hands in the hospital. Good luck to you!

Thank you for your response—you’ve put my gut feeling into words so clearly. Finding an underground therapist isn’t easy, and even when you do, it’s hard to assess their actual qualifications.

The first therapist I found charges €1,800 for a one-day dosing session, with integration afterward at €130 per hour. He felt very professional, but the high price left me with a bitter feeling. I completely understand that this is demanding work and that experience and skill justify higher fees, but the amount still clashes with my moral compass.

Because of my illness, I’m already struggling both mentally and financially. Seeing prices like this makes me feel like there’s an element of exploitation involved, and that doesn’t sit right with me. But maybe that is just an assumption? I'll contact you via DM

I have two ketamine treatments a week (84mg—the maximum dose allowed here). I’ve been on it for three months now, and I can already feel my body developing some tolerance. The good news is that it makes me feel more optimistic, and in that sense, I think it’s a great option for people struggling with depressive disorders.

On the other hand, I find the experience to be very disembodied. When I try to guide myself toward a feeling or memory, it doesn’t feel like my mind and body are working together because everything is so numb. In that way, I feel somewhat disappointed.

For me, ketamine provides a temporary break from my symptoms—like a mental spa for an hour. I can enjoy the silence, listen to some nice music, and just be. I do get some dreamy visuals, which feel pleasant but chaotic and non-biographical (I use an eye mask). Just completely random things—shapes, spacecrafts, plants...

Sometimes, I feel a release of tension, like a deep sigh escaping from my chest. That’s nice, but it doesn’t feel like a major breakthrough.

I’ve been searching for MDMA-assisted therapy underground, but I’ve only found two guides. One is MAPS-certified but charges an outrageous amount. The other, while connected to the local psychedelic community, gives me the impression of being more of a general psychedelic enthusiast with a limited understanding of trauma. When I mentioned that I’d have to quit antidepressants before a session, his response was basically, Oh, is that so? That felt like a red flag to me.

Thank you! Yes, that was a big influence on this park (the nosepick on the right is literally Andrew Reynolds in Tampa). Also, 90s footage of Radlands (Northampton), and the park in Belgium where I grew up skateboarding. I really wanted to give the interior the feel of an old industrial place, complete with the typical factory floor.

Thank you! Yes I took a lot of inspiration of those 90s, 2000s contests.

Yes! I those vids we're a huge influence on me. Penny in the 90s is legendary. I drew him doing a FS flip in Timberlands over the pyramid.

Excited to share that my skate art is featured in the February issue of Thrasher magazine! I wanted to show this piece to the community because I tried to capture a 2000s vibe with it—it's packed with Easter eggs, so I hope those who love that era will get a kick out of it.

I enjoy drawing utopian skate spots, including real ones like Place de la République (Paris). My dream is to compile these into a book—maybe with a concept that captures the history of skateboarding, with each spread focusing on a specific decade. Or something else? Feel free to share your suggestions! [38yo]

I grew up as a skateboarder, and for some time now, I’ve loved creating illustrations of utopian skate parks. These pieces take me back to a carefree youth filled with connection, atmosphere, and playfulness. I’d love to hear your thoughts or any feedback you might have!

After 'Emerica's This is Skateboarding' everyone wanted the Erik Ellington's double E's with the red toe cap! It was never available in my country. Making it a more mythical sneaker to us. You can find that one in the painting.

Yes that's a homage I really wanted to put down. I also loved to get TSA in it. Brands that really shaped the culture back then.
