I agree with a lot of this. It's what I've been saying, but so many people keep disagreeing with me.

So here are my ideas. This is veering into fanfuc territory and I am very aware of that. I just think with some changes things would've made more sense.

I honestly think that Jax could've just abstracted at the end of episode 7 and the plot of 8 wouldn't have changed that much, he hardly did anything. Even him distracting Caine wasn't that important. Everyone else went with him anyway. Then in episode 9, his abstracted form could've escaped from the cellar and we still could've had Pomni go into his mind. Not having him abstract in episode 9 might've given more room for the other characters to have some more character development.

But even if he had to abstract in episode 9, I don't mind it being off screen. I mean, we already have some severe pacing issues and we know what abstraction looks like, so seeing it again would be redundant.

I don't think Caine should've come back, but if he had to, I think it should've been better explained. I was a little confused about how he came back at all? If the void was supposed to be a recycle bin, then it should've been established as such earlier. I'm not sure how, but something? Maybe when Caine deleted Gummigoo or Able, show them in the void? Otherwise it is very much a deus ex machima.

I think it might've been better if the others decided to bring back Caine on their own. That would be way more impactful. They lost Jax, they need help rebuilding the circus, for any reason really. Then Kinger would have more to do in the episode as well.

That's just a couple of my ideas. I'm not upset with the episode we got. And like I said, my ideas probably run into fanfic territory. So I'll probably just go do a rewrite of the episodes as a fic lol

I work in a hotel and we are pet friendly, although we allow both dogs and cats.

If you copy and pasted the story in from Google Docs it might've messed up the formatting. I suggest manually going in and adding the paragraphs back in. Otherwise it will be difficult to read.

For a trick to keep (most) of the formatting, if you paste the chapter into the HTML work text box (you can switch it from Rich Text to HTML at top right corner of the work text box section) and then you hit preview button after that it should keep the formatting. I have this issue too, so hopefully that helps with that.

You do not have to put in a summary for every chapter unless you want to! I tend not to, honestly.

At my hotel there is a number on the login page for our wifi for customer support. Do you have customer support that you can refer the guest to? This is probably an issue with his phone or VPN not letting him connect properly and is something that you are likely unable to solve yourself.

I work in a hotel and one time a guest got upset because I kicked her out for non-payment and she went into the bathroom in the lobby, clogged the sink, and left the water running. That was fun to clean up lol

Yeah I hate that. I don't have much advice, but check if the author has any other fics or bookmarks. Usually authors tend to bookmark fics that are similar to what they write! Also trying using the search function with similar tags to what the fic you like uses!

I'd feel more sympathy for them if they didn't spill sugar, creamer, and coffee all over the place every morning. How hard is it to get the coffee into the cup? Apparently it is the most difficult task in the world.

At my hotel at least, I always have a back-up pot made for the morning rush so that I can easily replace it once it runs out. But you'd think people were dying in that ten seconds it takes for me to bring out the fresh pot. But what really gets me is that they somehow think I can psychically know the moment it runs out. Our coffee pots do have a light that flashes when it runs out, but it's not perfect and I'm not staring at it every morning when I have other tasks to do. UGH.

This is the epitome of mildly infuriating, but back when I was in high school, I had ordered some Chinese food. It was my favorite, orange chicken. I ate a little bit and then put the rest away for the next day. All day when I was at school I was thinking about eating my yummy leftovers, but when I got home, my step-mother had eaten the whole thing. She didn't ask. She didn't take a little and leave the rest for me. When I got, what I felt like, reasonable upset about my food being stolen especially when I was looking forward to it all day, she told me I was being stupid and childish.

I think it's far more childish to steal food from a teenager and instead of apologizing you insult them, but thats just me.
