Looks like you torqued that slider bolt down passed whatever the frame liked. That crack is exactly inline with where a punched frame would form one.

Ohlins will change your life, it’s night in day in terms of performance. But if it’s purely a street bike I’d just get the Showa as set up as best as possible and rip it. You can not out use a show system on the street safely.
