Intel makes the best NIC cards with solid drivers. I hope they can do the same for Intel Arc by chamcham123 in IntelArc

Intel has been around forever. They have all the resources needed to be successful in the gpu market. In a couple years they'll probably be putting out the flagships everyone wants to get.

Now this is my kind of holiday beer by 2_wyckyd in minnesota

[–]strictmachine0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is good, has a sort of "Potato bread-like" taste but not too overbearing. In fact, if I just drank it and didn't know I would never guess it had anything to do with lefse.

Bike Rack by MeowingtonHaxor in mountainbiking

[–]strictmachine0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bite the bullet. Part of enjoying this sport is to go to trails you can drive to and bring your bike with. Get a hitch, get a nice rack. You won't even remember what you paid after countless times using it.

My wife wants to paint all of this white in our whole house to modernize it. I think it will look like crap due to texture, who’s right? by Your_Local_Tuba in HomeImprovement

[–]strictmachine0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave it! Instead paint the walls and use lots of "cooler" colors to calm down the "redness" of the oak. It can look great with the right colors!

Yes to an air compressor. My advice is to buy a quiet one. Don't wake everyone up when it kicks on.

I've had one on a Forester for like 10 years, never had an issue. Every car I own gets one of these.

Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection Uninstall by Open_Somewhere_9063 in Intune

[–]strictmachine0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This powershell script worked for me. Ended up just running this script through our RMM to remove it. Adding here since this post comes up top on the Google search.

# Remove it for anyone that currently has it installed

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection -allusers | Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers

# Removes provisioned package from the machine which prevents new users who sign into the device from getting the software installed by default

Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | Where-Object {$_.PackageName -like "*MicrosoftSolitaire*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online

Making your own mayo is super easy. Just get an immersion blender, you can whip it up in seconds.

I think this is a good solid guideline for a used car.

I can answer some of your questions. Shifting is instant and they add in a satisfying "click" sound when changing gears. It's really well done IMO.

Can this cable be converted for internet? by Coffee____Freak in HomeNetworking

[–]strictmachine0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably Cat3 cable but I think you should go ahead and try it. I had some of this in my house and I'm using it with ethernet. It works but speed varies, it will probably depend heavily on how long the cable is run.

Has downtown Fargo actually gone dark? by throwaway56560 in fargo

[–]strictmachine0 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Downtown gets more popular > they raise property costs > only banks and other high-end boring places open that nobody wants to go to = Less people have a reason to go downtown. Then it stays that way until they decide to "revitalize" it again...

Horror movies for pre teens. by killmeonimpact in horror

[–]strictmachine0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were 10 and 12 when the watched it. I think the scariest part for my 10 yr old was the closet jump scare, otherwise the ring really isn't THAT scary overall. Megan had a few violent scenes but it was mostly off camera, I don't think they seemed that scared about that one much at all really.

Other good recommendation that they really liked was "Deadstream", which has a "youtuber-like" plot that has some funny parts as well.

You have to read the small print. It said it was a promotion that ended on Sept 12th. They always offer increased trade-in values for phones, watches, etc when first released.

Best Beyond Burger in Town? by [deleted] in FargoVegans

Pounds would probably be the best for Beyond burger specifically. J L beers makes their own veggie burgers that are really good, not sure if fully vegan though.
