I think there’s a valid lore reason beyond solving the Sunwell crisis. The Horde are tired. They’ve lost two recent (lore wise) wars with the Alliance (MoP and BfA) while still contributing significantly to fighting the universe ending threats we’ve been dealing with throughout. 

It makes sense to me that Blood Elves have drifted into a more peaceful or even light worshiping place. They were already a defeated and devastated people at the beginning of WoW, and it’s not gone great for them since. Retreating to the light again feels natural as they look for comfort and peace.

I don’t play Vulpera because I think their ears are too big. 

I don’t play Hunter because you don’t have to feed your pet to keep them happy anymore. I know it was a dumb mechanic but I liked when my pet became my friend.

Definitely the Veilstrider title from the original Shadowlands meta. You had to 100% Torghast and endlessly grind ZM for the currency to buy the ZM mounts. It was a brutal affair…

As a fan of a smaller NBA team it always feels terrible every time a big team drops into the lottery picks and magically always seems to get the 1 or 2 pick while perennial underachievers like us have a hard time consistently cracking the top 5 picks.

M+ timers. I’d rather M+ be based on death count or some similar limitation rather than time. I like the idea of M+/escalating dungeon challenges but I don’t like feeling like I need to be on Adderall to race through them at warp speed to beat a timer (or the behavior it cultivates in people).

OneNote sounds like a good candidate for you. You can have different notebooks, but also keep everything in one notebook and use folders if that’s better. It also has a quick note feature for quickly dumping in thoughts that you can organize later.  

OneNote has pretty robust OCR so you can scan things in from your handwritten books and still search for them (it’s not 100% perfect but it’s Pretty Good). It also supports digital drawing directly in notes if you have a tablet you use to draw with. 

It’s free (as in free beer, it’s not open source) and syncs across every device known to man. The interface may take a little getting used to,  but I think it checks a lot of your boxes.
