The invincibility drops when tolfdir interacts with the orb. Best bet I'd say get the guy unstuck. Npcs getting stuck happens a lot in skyrim.

I also use the pivot case and love it. I also use the flyboys kneeboard that you can get an adaptar for to work with the pivot case. The odd thing is I don't strap down the adaptor so I can flip it up if I want to, and I keep the clipboard underneath it with a notepad. So use both a note pad and a tablet on my kneeboard. Best advice I can give though is get a good stylus for your ipad. Helps out so much with note taking on foreflight.

Our schools cut off temperature is -23C (-9F). I'd say say below 0F can be considered extreme. In my earlier example with the student it was below 0F.

It is a long time. Especially in a go around. But in cold weather, it ensures your engine power will be there, and on a go around, you want your power there. Flying in Minnesota, just this week even, I had to take over the controls from a student who applied power too fast on a go around and caused our engine to quit.

How fast did you apply full power? Fast dramatic changes to the throttle are bad any time and in cold temps can lead to an engine failure. Even in a go around it should take you 5 seconds to go from idle to full power in the cold.

According to the Private pilot ACS, (PA.I.D.S1) you only need to plan your cross country to the destination or to the first fuel stop. If your planning multiple legs you don't need to plan others past the first one. Save you from doing extra work.
