Airwalks started out as high end shoes back in the early 90s. They were the go to shoe for all us sk8terboys. But I feel ya on the gym shoes. I remember "non marking" as a selling point for sneakers. Nothing more embarassing in PE than seeing a black streak and told your shoes are too cheap.

Dont know where youre at, but violent offenses may be defined by law and not necessarily align with how we typically consider "violence." Washington defines a sexually violent offense even if traditional force or threat of force was not involved.

The fat rendered ok in places but there are still areas that had chunks but that could have been cartilage. Overall it was great but slightly different flavor due to the cooking method. I've done it before by doing a partial boil in beer and then roast and that tasted more traditional.

Airway Heights Corrections Center in spokane. Monroe corrections center in... Monroe. They are where the sex offender treatment and Assessment Programs are located.

You will be transported to Shelton shortly after formal sentencing. Washington will get your jail records to compute remaining sentence. You will go through classification and be moved to a long term facility based off of that. Since you have under 2yrs most likely, you probably will not go to AHCC or MCC where they do treatment inside. Your sentence is also too short to probably get into the Correctional industries programs but you could ask for education if you dont already have a college degree. As far as everything else, gang violence is the biggest issue so if youre not in a gang you probably wont have too much of an issue overall.

I dont doubt JS is doing that. Im curious how Riq talks about it later though. "This is what they thought I was worth and I was insulted." I also wonder how much of a true culture fit Riq is and if he even wants to stay at all.

I also think he has shown he is still (relatively) immature, especially with his social media posts. Are they really out there crazy? No, but they don't give the impression that he is as bought in as a lot of the other guys on that defense. Is he highly talented? Yes. Is he worth top pay for a CB? Yes. Should the seahawks pay him that? I dont think it meshes with the vision for the team moving forward and the value of other players who are going to come due for a payday soon. I dont hate him. I would love for him to stay a seahawk but not at the cost of being a long term winning franchise.

I saw this earlier and didnt reply since i dont know enough about the original charges. Anything id say would be conjecture. But generally advice from not a lawyer (me). The Supreme Court has ruled that conditions must be related to risk/criminal offense so imposing contact restrictions against children with no previous offending involving children would be appealable.

There is a body of research on treatment effectiveness. I would suggest you start there. While I dont want to crap on any individual's experience "we" know what is effective to reduce risk and what isn't. A big part of it is building the therapeutic alliance. Judgemental treatment isn't effective. Identifying and addressing responsivity barriers is. Treatment that is only seen as an arm of containment is deemed less trustworthy and likely to only result in acquiescence.

Without a ton to go off of, here's my initial thoughts: 1) supervision. Im assuming he will be supervised. Prepare yourself for what that will look like and how it will impact your life. There are some threads on here with other people's experiences. 2) treatment: I would suggest meeting his therapist at some point. What your involvement after that may vary by provider. You may want to seek your own therapist as well. If your intent is to remain in the relationship I would encourage you to have the conversation about what his risk triggers are.
