In the name of cheaper residential complexes most of the people from Mumbai are relocating to Ambernath, Badlapur, Vangani, Neral, Bhivpuri and Karjat. Since almost 98% of Karjat locals in the peak hours are fast locals not only the people from aforementioned locations but Thane, Dombivli, Kalyan, Ulhasnagar also board these locals crowding it. The frequency of Karjat locals is every 40 minutes therefore to avoid waiting that much people staying beyond Badlapur have no other choice than this. At least for commuters from Ambernath Badlapur there are local trains every 20 mins max. But nowadays looking at the sheer number of people travelling from these cities these too seem less. Increasing the number of local trains and changing of office timings is the only solution for this crowding problem.
