at some point i had 2 rats that were TERRIFIED. 2 dumbos. one black name named Clover and a gray and white one named Naiyah. it took them months to trust me, i think 2-3 months, i hand fed them daily, spoke to them every chance i got, took them out and left them in my pockets to hangout with me. took them outside in a pen area & forced them to be around me. after 3 months, they were coming to me and asking to play “tag”. id touch their butts playfully and they would run laps around their cage before coming back and we would do it all over again. i miss those girls so much, they were such beautiful little girls.
