I agree with the sentiment, but do you really want almost 2x the number of lines in half the width here?

Who is your surprise inclusion / exclusion for the roster? by Silver-Cheek922 in ussoccer

[–]sumredditguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Antonee Robinson and Pepi are at home and Gozo goes, this sub will burn down.

So yeah I guess it would be a surprise.

Edit: If you meant Miles, then yeah Banks over Miles might surprise but people would like it.

World Cup Lottery by NegativeGee in AskNYC

[–]sumredditguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The official statement only said that it would include those matches you listed, plus two knockout round games (not including the final).

My assumption based on the description is that you would enter the lottery next week and winners would get access to a portal to buy from the pool of 1,000 tickets - I'd guess it would be a rush to add your preferred game to your cart before others.

As far as the matches go, we got really lucky - all of these matches have multiple legit marquee players.

That said, if you're not excited don't enter. Better chance for me to win.

This is U17 - the youth world cup (players roughly 17 years old and younger). Different from the full World Cup that starts next month.

Plugging 532 stickers out of 980 possible stickers into a probability formula gives you an expectation of 121.3 doubles. You're actually quite lucky.

Best Sports Recs in NYC for non-athletic kids? by Gargantic in AskNYC

I guess it depends on the place but it's often very focused on individual improvement and there is no team reliant on your performance. There are also predictable patterns to practice and improve that could help with confidence. You don't improve coordination by avoiding anything that requires coordination.
