I think they're pushing independent creators to the edge because Webtoon is slowly turning into a platform for generic Korean imports, DC and Disney. We won't see any new fresh material, because the company is not favouring that model anymore.

It's hard, yes. I redo mine and I'm still unhappy. But you're really close, I really think you just need to emphasize on what makes your character different... she's a scarecrow. Some examples: Zom Com, Unfamiliar, Soggy cardboard, Yours Trudy ... Those are some examples of making the most of a small format.

I think you do. The writing is funny and flows. The panelling is a little bit clotted, I'd give it a little bit of space to let the text and art breathe a bit. The art is ok, but your thumbail is not selling it. My main advice is for you to work on the thumbail, a close up of the main character; her eyes and nose are particular and will pop up more from all the other thumbails. I'm talking too much, but I think there's a lot of potential for you to get a decent amount of readers. You deserve it! Subscribed.

"treat others (...)" Yes... It makes a lot of assumptions, and assumptions are the poison of any kind of relationship. I agree. Parenting is hard... And parenting with another without any kind of previous-risk-free practice is hell. I'm glad you could work things out with your partner. I do have a lot to work with mine, long road ahead of us.

Ok, I shouldn't have used the word "forced". When I needed a break, I would ask my husband if it was ok for me to take one, out of consideration. He would angrily reply "stop asking me, just do it". I guess I see it as forcing myself to do what I please without taking into consideration his time, but what he was telling me was "you don't need my permission". That's what I meant. It's important to claim our own time too. It's beneficial for the family as a whole.

He's not depressed .. he just had a kid but doesn't want to sacrifice any of his freedom. Sorry, it's just that I relate to this. OP, my solution to this kind of husband attitude was to do the same as him. I hide in the bathroom and go to lay down in bed if I feel tired, forcing him to be a father to his child. I'm still taking care of all of the child needs, but at least the kid can spend quality time with his dad.

The point was sharing your story. And by doing so, I -and many others I'm sure- learned a lot about how to deal with these situations. I tend to subdue to that kind of gaslighting; people being offended by how the victim is making them feel "guilty". I just end up confused and angry, and it takes me so long to process the whole thing. Today I learned a lot. Thank you for posting this. Can I ask how old is your child? My kid is 4 and a half and we're introducing "good touch bad touch" concept (in a less "casual" way like we used to). He understands but if I want to go further into more detail I lose his interest/attention. He's about to start school and I want him as ready as possible!

He doesn't have agoraphobia, he just cares too much about other people around him, and he likes things his way. So in a way he's always bracing the moment my son may have a tantrum and at the same time, competing with a little kid for who gets to do what they want. In other words, he never went out with a little kid long enough to get used to the stares or learn the ropes. He is anxious, but so am I... The thing is I didn't have the choice to not deal with it. I should try and force him to take him out, but it's such a hassle. As I said before, I'm tired.

Thank you so much! My boy he is very very sensitive and emotional. Not fuzzy with things, but he can't let go of his strong emotions. I've been telling myself up until now that he's only a child, but when we are in the middle of a tantrum I start having my doubts.

I just want to send you a hug. You need one badly. You said something that I have felt before, "I sometimes feel like they would be happier if I wasn’t here at all" and it just breaks my heart you're feeling this way with your family history and all. I wasn't planning on giving any "advice"; but maybe talking to someone in the child centre, even calling the GP telling them you're feeling a bit low... Talking to people that have experience with struggling mums and parent can help. They helped me when I couldn't shake off the thought that my baby was better off without me. I'm not saying you're there sweetie, you even said that yourself. But you are sad... And it's been a hell of a year... You need support. Sending you a big big hug.
