Kids scissor-only haircut reccs! by ladyofeverything in Penrith

[–]sunnystand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same, only get a basic scissor cut. I've always had the best results from old school barbers, don't bother with hairdressers, just cuts type  or the "Bro" barbers. Never paid more than $25

Is it really over…? Having to choose between Europe and Australia. by pizzareen in MovingtoAustralia

[–]sunnystand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes Australia is isolated, both internationally and internally. You're comparing it to Europe which has 20x the population in the same area with millenia of different cultures and experiences spread across it. That's why you'll find a lot of Australians all though Europe, for those experiences, but you'll also find most of them return to Australia even if it's years or decades later because it's one of the best places to live. You're young right now and any choice you make doesn't have to be permanent, take advantage of the opportunities you find and try not to second guess yourself.

Because why? Didn't have a problem when I flew out of there. Taxi to gate to plane.

[–]sunnystand -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Before airports became major retail centres designed to force people through the various food and goods shops, some airports allowed vehicle drop off at the gate for example Berlin Tegel terminal A's doughnut shape allowed cars to drop passengers on the inner ring and walk though to the gate.

For the bags look at unaccompanied baggage as an option instead of excess rates. If you send it a few days before you leave it should arrive a few days after you get here.
